CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: skmsg: preserve sg.copy across SG transforms
The sk_msg sg.copy bitmap is part of the scatterlist entry ownership
state. A set bit tells sk_msg_compute_data_pointers() not to expose the
entry through writable BPF ctx->data. This protects entries backed by
pages that are not private to the sk_msg, such as splice-backed file
page-cache pages.
Several sk_msg transform paths move, copy, split, or compact
msg->sg.data[] entries without moving the matching sg.copy bit. This can
make an externally backed entry arrive at a new slot with a clear copy
bit. A later SK_MSG verdict can then expose sg_virt(sge) as writable
ctx->data and BPF stores can modify the original page cache.
Keep sg.copy synchronized with sg.data[] whenever entries are
transferred, shifted, split, or copied into a new sk_msg. Clear the bit
when an entry is replaced by a newly allocated private page or freed.
This covers the BPF pull/push/pop helpers, sk_msg_shift_left/right(),
sk_msg_xfer(), and tls_split_open_record(), including the partial tail
entry created during TLS open-record splitting. |
| LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From 1.87.0 until 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2, the proxy reuses one cryptographic context for at-rest secrets and session tokens, allowing an authenticated internal user to have crafted metadata containing a forged administrator credential encrypted and returned by the API-key flow. Replaying that ciphertext as a bearer token causes the proxy to trust the forged proxy administrator identity, permitting administrative access and arbitrary commands through the MCP stdio endpoint. Versions 1.87.0 through 1.90.x require EXPERIMENTAL_UI_LOGIN to be enabled, while versions after 1.91.0 are exploitable in the default configuration. This issue was fixed in LiteLLM 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2. |
| Vulnerability in Oracle Java SE (component: Java plugin). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 8u503 and 8u503-perf. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Java SE executes to compromise Oracle Java SE. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Java SE, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Java SE accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Java SE accessible data. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco owned Open Source Snort 3 Software engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20291 are related to issues concerning improper privilege management that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Base CWE-269. |
| An improper privilege management vulnerability [CWE-269] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiClientEMS 7.2.0 through 7.2.2, FortiClientEMS 7.0.6 through 7.0.10, FortiClientEMS 7.0.0 through 7.0.4, FortiClientEMS 6.4 all versions, FortiClientEMS 06.02 all versions, FortiClientEMS 6.2 all versions allows an Site administrator with Super Admin privileges to perform global administrative operations affecting other sites via crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.16.1 and 0.17.8, the @backstage/backend-defaults package is affected by improper preservation of access restrictions during service credential delegation. An external service credential configured with access restrictions (e.g., read-only) could bypass those restrictions by routing requests through plugin delegation paths. This could allow a restricted service to perform operations beyond its intended scope, including write operations on plugins it was restricted to read-only access for. This issue is fixed in versions 0.16.1 and 0.17.8. |
| The HIPAA Forms WordPress plugin before 3.3.2 does not perform a capability check when handling a request that rebuilds its own custom user role, allowing a user who already holds that role to grant it administrator-level capabilities and escalate their privileges. |
| The WP User Manager WordPress plugin before 2.9.26 does not keep its paid-registration capability restrictions in force once the payment gateway is disconnected, while a published paid registration form continues to assign its configured role, allowing unauthenticated users to register and immediately obtain a privileged administrator-equivalent role without completing the payment meant to gate it. |
| Trigger.dev before 4.6.0 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in the GET /api/v1/projects/:projectRef/envvars endpoint, which returns the environment's root API key as TRIGGER_SECRET_KEY for staging, production, and preview environments. Attackers holding a restricted read:envvars key can obtain the root secret and plaintext secrets, then trigger tasks and mint admin public JWTs. |
