CVE-2025-55653 1 Gpac 1 Mp4box 2026-10-23 5.5 Medium
GPAC MP4Box v2.4 was discovered to contain a floating point exception in the gf_parse_lfrac function (utils/error.c). Processing a crafted MP4 file containing a zero-denominator fraction string causes gf_parse_lfrac() to divide by zero, terminating the process with SIGFPE.
CVE-2026-79610 1 Xen 1 Xen 2026-10-23 8.8 High
XSA-501 was about issues with v1 -> v2 and v2 -> v1 changes racing certain other grant table operations. Sadly a v2 -> v1 -> v2 change has yet another effect which wasn't accounted for: During the first change, status pages would be freed. During the second change they would be allocated again. Hence across the full pair of change the addresses of the status pages may change, rendering stale previously calculated pointers into the status array.
CVE-2026-98500 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: hid-oxp: use cancel_delayed_work_sync() in remove oxp_hid_remove() uses cancel_delayed_work() for all three delayed work items. cancel_delayed_work() only dequeues a pending work item without waiting for a currently executing callback to finish. If any of the work callbacks (oxp_rgb_queue_fn, oxp_btn_queue_fn, oxp_mcu_init_fn) is running at the time of removal, the callback continues executing concurrently with hid_hw_close() and hid_hw_stop(), accessing the HID device after it has been closed and stopped. Use cancel_delayed_work_sync() instead to ensure that any in-progress work callback completes before device teardown proceeds.
CVE-2026-112940 1 Tox-dev 1 Filelock 2026-10-22 7.1 High
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 3.20.4 until 4.2.1, ReadWriteLock let SQLite reopen the database and side files by name; on POSIX systems an attacker with rename access in a non-sticky parent can swap those names to cause overwrite or unlink operations, while a writable adjacent hot journal is additionally required for attacker-chosen content overwrites. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-112909 1 Tox-dev 1 Filelock 2026-10-22 6.1 Medium
filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. Prior to 4.2.1, UnixFileLock can truncate a regular file renamed onto the lock path when another local user has actual rename permission, or hard-linked there under a permissive hard-link policy; when an explicit mode is requested, affected versions from 3.10.2 can also change that file's mode. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1.
CVE-2026-98604 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 3.1 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ovpn: replace bind when learning local endpoint struct ovpn_bind is published through peer->bind with RCU, but local endpoint learning updates bind->local in place under peer->lock. UDP TX reads the field without that lock. In particular, a concurrent IPv6 update can therefore result in a torn address read. Use ovpn_peer_reset_sockaddr to publish a replacement bind when learning a new local endpoint, just as a remote endpoint change does. Preserve the current remote address and reset the dst cache only after the new bind has been published successfully. Track remote endpoint changes separately so that float notification and transport-address rehashing remain limited to actual peer floats.
CVE-2026-100394 1 Nezhahq 1 Nezha 2026-10-22 6.5 Medium
Nezha Monitoring is a self-hostable, lightweight, servers and websites monitoring and O&M tool. From 2.2.7 until 2.2.11, ServiceSentinel.worker in service/singleton/servicesentinel.go checked an owned service under servicesLock and later dereferenced pointer-valued serviceStatusToday and serviceCurrentStatusData entries under serviceResponseDataStoreLock without revalidating that ServiceSentinel.Delete had not removed them. A RoleMember could concurrently report TCP or ICMP results through the member's own agent and delete the same owned service, causing a nil pointer dereference. Because the gRPC server had no recovery interceptor, the worker panic terminated the whole dashboard process and disrupted every tenant's web interface, REST API, and agent connections. The issue affects availability only and does not disclose or modify data. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.11 and 2.3.0.
CVE-2026-98647 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix divide-by-zero in btf_struct_walk() When an access goes past the struct and the last member is a flexible array, btf_struct_walk() folds the offset back into a single element with (off - moff) % t->size, but never checks that the element type has a size. BTF takes an empty struct, so this in program BTF /* event could be empty */ struct event { #ifdef HAVE_TIMESTAMP __u64 ts; #endif }; struct batch { int nr; struct event events[]; }; divides by zero at prog load time. Getting there needs a PTR_TO_BTF_ID that is not MEM_ALLOC, e.g. a plain read of a local kptr stashed in a map from a sleepable program. Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN PTI RIP: 0010:btf_struct_walk+0x53f/0x1570 Call Trace: <TASK> btf_struct_access+0x42a/0xcd0 check_ptr_to_btf_access+0x4dc/0x1160 check_mem_access+0x3a45/0x8740 check_load_mem+0x36a/0xd10 do_check_common+0x3ef0/0xb210 bpf_check+0x6d3b/0x8580 bpf_prog_load+0xf7c/0x2720 __sys_bpf+0xa83/0x3690 __x64_sys_bpf+0xc7/0x150 x64_sys_call+0x1f3f/0x27e0 do_syscall_64+0xe5/0x610 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x76/0x7e </TASK> Reject a zero-sized element type. CVE-2026-98649 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 5.6 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: Fix race in _destroy_pages_crste() Use READ_ONCE() in _destroy_pages_crste() to read the crste, avoid dereferencing the pointer multiple times.
CVE-2026-98669 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: buffer: serialize buffer teardown with mode claims Buffer-mode claims hold mlock to guarantee that the device remains in buffer mode until the claim is released. Normal buffer updates take info_exist_lock followed by mlock in iio_update_buffers(). However, iio_device_unregister() disables and deactivates all buffers without taking mlock. This can invalidate buffer state, including active_scan_mask, while a buffer-mode claim is held. Take mlock in iio_disable_all_buffers() so that unregister honors the mode-claim lifetime guarantee. The info_exist_lock -> mlock ordering matches iio_update_buffers().
CVE-2026-98689 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thunderbolt: Don't access a DP tunnel after its DPRX read was canceled tb_dp_dprx_work() checks ->dprx_canceled before it takes tb->lock so it misses a tb_dp_dprx_stop() that could not cancel the already running work. It then polls the DPRX capabilities and runs the callback for a tunnel that has already been torn down while the domain is suspending or going away. This can be hit by cancelling the DPRX read from outside the ordered tb->wq: During suspend tb_disconnect_and_release_dp() does just this and with a later patch tb_stop() will do it as well. The latter in combination with the Apple NHI where the DPRX read never completed is how I hit this. Check the flag with tb->lock held instead and check it again in tb_dp_tunnel_active() because the callback runs after the lock has been dropped again. Also clear the flag in tb_dp_dprx_start() so that it only ever describes the work that is currently in flight.
CVE-2026-98681 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: split cifsFileInfo bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races The invalidHandle, swapfile, oplock_break_cancelled, offload, and status_file_deleted fields are stored in the same bitfield byte in struct cifsFileInfo, but are updated in different code paths that may run simultaneously, and are protected by different locks. Since bitfield assignments generate byte-level read-modify-write operations, a modification to one flag can overwrite a concurrent modification to another flag. To avoid these races, convert these flags from a bitfield to separate bool fields.
CVE-2026-65372 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-10-22 4.7 Medium
A race condition was addressed with additional validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. A malicious application may be able to bypass Privacy preferences.
CVE-2026-94300 2 Isc, Redhat 3 Bind, Bind 9, Hummingbird 2026-10-22 8.1 High
Replaying GSS-TSIG signed UDP messages can result in memory corruption in "`named`". An attacker who can capture a previously signed UDP message can replay it while the negotiated TSIG key is still valid. By also sending crafted queries to a zone the attacker controls, the attacker may potentially achieve remote code execution. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.29, 9.21.0 through 9.21.26, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.29-S1.
CVE-2026-98130 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-22 8.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: fix a TOCTOU race in SCTP_CMD_TIMER_START The SCTP_CMD_TIMER_START handler checks timer_pending() before calling timer_reduce(). The timer can expire and detach between these operations, causing timer_reduce() to rearm the timer without taking the association reference required for the newly armed timer. The timer callback later unconditionally drops its association reference, which can leave the association reference count unbalanced and result in use-after-free during association teardown. Use the return value of timer_reduce() to determine whether the timer was actually armed. Take the association reference only when timer_reduce() successfully starts a new timer, closing the race between checking the timer state and rearming it. This issue was reported by Nico Yip (@_cyeaa_) working with TrendAI Zero Day Initiative.
CVE-2026-82942 1 Apache 1 Brpc 2026-10-22 N/A
A data race in the RDMA transport of Apache bRPC (versions < 1.18.0) allows a remote client to crash the server process (denial of service) when RDMA is enabled at build time and runtime. Root Cause: When a bRPC server negotiates RDMA with a client, the handshake completes on the TCP fd, but the server kept parsing that fd afterwards as if it were still an RPC channel. The TCP-fd input stream and the RDMA QP input stream (driven by CQ events) shared the same Socket::_read_buf, preferred_index and parsing_context without synchronization. In addition, CQ event processing could start while the handshake parsing was still in progress, and the handshake ACK phase could consume bytes belonging to the next protocol. A remote, unauthenticated client that has completed the RDMA handshake can send data on the TCP fd at the same time RDMA messages are being processed, corrupting the shared input buffer and parser state and crashing the server process (CWE-362, availability impact). Affected Scenarios: Use a bRPC server with RDMA support enabled (built with BRPC_WITH_RDMA and serving rdma:// / SOCKET_MODE_RDMA sockets) and accept connections from untrusted clients. Deployments without RDMA are not affected. How to Fix: (Choose one of the following options) 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3505
CVE-2026-78117 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-10-22 4.2 Medium
The Infineon PSOC 6 BLESS HCI driver in drivers/bluetooth/hci/hci_infineon_psoc6_bless.c stored the outgoing HCI packet descriptor in a file-scope variable, static cy_stc_ble_hci_tx_packet_info_t hci_tx_pkt. psoc6_bless_send() cleared and populated that descriptor's packetType, dataLength and data fields before acquiring psoc6_bless_operation_sem, so the driver's serialising semaphore protected only the call into Cy_BLE_SoftHciSendAppPkt() and not the shared state that call reads. The Bluetooth host does not guarantee a single HCI sender. Most transmissions are funnelled through the cooperative TX-processor work queue, but bt_hci_cmd_send() deliberately bypasses bt_dev.cmd_tx_queue for BT_HCI_OP_HOST_NUM_COMPLETED_PACKETS and calls bt_send() directly from the caller's thread; that caller is bt_hci_host_num_completed_packets(), the acl_in_pool destroy callback, which runs on whichever thread drops the last reference to a received ACL buffer. CONFIG_BT_HCI_ACL_FLOW_CONTROL defaults to y on this driver's boards, and an application that returns -EINPROGRESS from its L2CAP recv callback and later calls bt_l2cap_chan_recv_complete() performs that unref from its own preemptible thread. A remote peer that generates Bluetooth traffic concurrently with the device's own transmissions raises the collision rate. When two senders interleave, the semaphore holder can hand the controller a descriptor whose dataLength comes from one net_buf and whose data pointer comes from another — or one whose buffer has already been returned to its pool. The controller then copies and transmits up to a full HCI/ACL payload starting at a shorter or recycled buffer, disclosing adjacent RAM contents to the connected peer; other interleavings duplicate one HCI packet and silently drop another, disrupting the link. The driver only reads through the shared descriptor, so no memory corruption or write primitive results, and the disclosed bytes are not attacker-chosen. The fix makes the descriptor a local variable in psoc6_bless_send(), removing the shared state; Cy_BLE_SoftHciSendAppPkt() copies the packet before returning, so it need not outlive the call.
CVE-2026-78118 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-10-22 7 High
The kernel helper z_waitq_head() (kernel/include/wait_q.h) reads the head of a thread wait queue, but on SMP systems it was called from several places without holding the scheduler spinlock _sched_spinlock that serializes wait-queue mutation. The consequential call site is z_timer_expiration_handler() in kernel/timer.c, which held only the timer subsystem lock timer_lock while reading timer->wait_q and then unpending, setting the return value of, and readying the thread it obtained. halt_thread() in kernel/sched.c removes an aborted thread from its wait queue while holding only _sched_spinlock, so the two paths are not mutually exclusive. When the last waiter is removed on another CPU inside that window, sys_dlist_peek_head() can return the list sentinel — a pointer into the k_timer object itself — typed as a struct k_thread * (with CONFIG_WAITQ_SCALABLE, rb_get_min() can return an arbitrary node of a tree being restructured), or it can return a pointer to a thread that has already been unpended and, for dynamically allocated threads, freed. The handler then calls unpend_thread_no_timeout(), which performs a sys_dlist_remove() through pointers read from that object, and arch_thread_return_value_set(), which writes unconditionally through the pointer. The result is out-of-bounds and use-after-free writes in supervisor context, plus scheduler state corruption; a milder outcome is a thread that has re-pended elsewhere being woken with a success return value from an unrelated blocking call. All of the primitives needed to drive the interleaving — k_timer_start(), k_timer_status_sync(), k_thread_create() and k_thread_abort() — are system calls, so with CONFIG_USERSPACE enabled an unprivileged user-mode thread can attempt the race against kernel-owned data. Exploitation requires a multi-CPU build (CONFIG_MP_MAX_NUM_CPUS greater than one; the affected region is a no-op on uniprocessor targets), local code execution, and winning a narrow timing window, so the practical outcome is most often a kernel crash rather than controlled corruption. The fix splits the helper into z_waitq_head_locked() for callers that already hold the scheduler spinlock and a z_waitq_head() that acquires it, and brings the timer expiration handler's head read, unpend and ready under a single LOCK_SCHED_SPINLOCK region.
CVE-2026-39601 2 Wordpress-extensions, Wpdevelop 2 Booking Calendar, Booking Calendar 2026-10-22 3.7 Low
Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') vulnerability in WPdevelop Booking Calendar booking allows Leveraging Race Conditions. This issue affects Booking Calendar: from n/a through 11.8.4.
CVE-2026-112054 1 Schroedinger 1 Schroedinger 2026-10-22 5.5 Medium
Schroedinger libschroedinger through 1.0.11 contains a divide by zero vulnerability that allows attackers to crash applications by supplying a zero slice_bytes_denom or slice count in a Dirac stream. Attackers can provide a crafted low-delay picture parsed by schro_decoder_parse_transform_parameters and schro_decoder_parse_lowdelay_transform_data to trigger a SIGFPE and cause denial of service.
