| Missing security attributes on sensitive cookies in KNIME Business Hub before version 1.19.0 allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to compromise user sessions if other security issues such as a cross-site scripting vulnerability or a man-in-the-middle attack are present. A workaround is not possible. |
| Vulnerability in the MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster product of Oracle MySQL (component: Server: XML). Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 8.4.0-8.4.12, 9.7.0-9.7.3, 26.7.0-26.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0-8.0.49, 8.4.0-8.4.12, 9.7.0-9.7.3 and 26.7.0-26.7.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). |
| ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-32, delegate symlink cleanup does not check the MAGICK_SHRED_PASSES environment variable, allowing a local privileged workflow to overwrite a file with random data. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2-32. |
| PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. From 3.3.0 until 3.10.8 and 5.10.0, Reader\Xml passes stored SpreadsheetML XML through XmlScanner::scan in Xml::canRead and Xml::trySimpleXMLLoadStringPrivate, while Xml::unentity decodes numeric entities only after each DOCTYPE pattern check. A double-encoded less-than character is reduced by the first callback to another encoded character and by the second callback to a literal less-than sign, so SimpleXML receives an unchecked DOCTYPE and entity declaration. Processing attacker-controlled SpreadsheetML XML can cause entity-expansion denial of service and can permit local file access or SSRF on PHP before 8.0 or when LIBXML_NOENT is enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 3.10.8 and 5.10.0. |
| PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. Prior to 1.30.7, 2.1.19, 2.4.8, 3.10.8, and 5.10.0, XmlScanner::scan in src/PhpSpreadsheet/Reader/Security/XmlScanner.php uses a DOCTYPE detection pattern that accounts for NUL-byte interleaving but not ISO-2022 escape sequences in XLSX XML parts. The escape sequences prevent the scanner from matching the declaration, and XML charset normalization then removes the escape bytes before parsing, exposing a valid DOCTYPE and entity definitions. Processing an attacker-controlled XLSX can therefore cause entity-expansion denial of service on supported PHP versions and can permit local file access or SSRF on PHP before 8.0 or when LIBXML_NOENT is enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 1.30.7, 2.1.19, 2.4.8, 3.10.8, and 5.10.0. |
| Supabase Realtime provides Broadcast, Presence, and Postgres Changes via WebSockets. Prior to version 2.103.1, the REST broadcast endpoints accept an expired JWT when the exp claim is encoded as a JSON string instead of a JSON number. The same route rejects an expired integer exp token signed with the same tenant secret. The accepted request returns 202 and emits the broadcast to subscribers. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker can broadcast realtime messages to subscribers. The attack can be performed via the Internet/only from within the supabase project. The impact of broadcasting messages to subscribers is application specific. This issue has been patched in version 2.103.1. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: JDBC). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 8u503, 8u503-perf, 11.0.32.1, 17.0.20.1, 21.0.12.1, 25.0.4.1, 27; Oracle GraalVM for JDK: 17.0.20.1 and 21.0.12.1; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 21.3.19.1.1. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition accessible data. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. This vulnerability also applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. | The Redis server command parser in Apache bRPC accepts an empty RESP array as a command header. A remote unauthenticated attacker who can reach a bRPC server with Redis service enabled can send an empty array header followed by a bulk string, causing an out-of-bounds write in the parser and crashing the process.
Root Cause:
RedisCommandParser::ConsumeImpl rejected negative RESP array counts but accepted zero. It resized the command argument vector to zero elements and continued parsing. When a following bulk string was parsed, the only index guard was a CHECK. In configurations where fatal logs do not abort immediately, execution could continue and write to _args[0] even though the vector was empty.
Affected Scenarios:
Deployments that enable ServerOptions.redis_service and accept Redis protocol traffic from untrusted clients. The issue is reached during parsing before command handling or authentication.
How to Fix:
1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue.
2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3354
Note:
The fix rejects empty RESP arrays as invalid Redis commands and replaces the internal index CHECK with an explicit parse error so malformed command streams cannot fall through to an indexed vector write. |
| A reachable-assertion flaw in the HPACK header-compression decoder of the HTTP/2 (h2/gRPC) stack in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows a remote attacker to crash the server process by sending a crafted sequence of HPACK headers, resulting in a denial of service.
Root Cause:
In src/brpc/details/hpack.cpp, IndexTable::Init sizes the dynamic-table ring buffer as num_headers = max_size / (32 + 2), i.e. it assumes a minimum table entry of 34 bytes (name >= 1 byte + value >= 1 byte + 32 bytes of overhead). However, RFC 7541 section 4.1 specifies that the minimum entry size is 33 bytes, because the value may be empty (name >= 1 byte + value == 0 + 32 bytes). For the default 4096-byte table this allocates only 120 slots (4096/34). Eviction in AddHeader is driven by byte usage (_max_size), not by slot count, so a peer can add 121 minimal 33-byte entries (121*33 = 3993 <= 4096) without triggering eviction. The 121st AddHeader then hits CHECK(!_header_queue.full()), which aborts the process.
Affected Scenarios:
Use a bRPC server that serves HTTP/2 or gRPC requests (e.g. via the h2 protocol) from an untrusted network. The malicious header block is processed during HPACK decoding of incoming requests without authentication.
How to Fix:
(Choose one of the following options)
1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue.
2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3462
Note:
The fix sizes the dynamic table for the 33-byte minimum entry (max_size / (32 + 1)) and ensures at least one ring-buffer slot is kept when max_size is smaller than the minimum entry, so that initialization cannot fail on malloc(0). |
| Enforceable assertion in the streaming feature of Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows a remote attacker to crash the server process by sending a malformed stream feedback frame.
Root Cause:
When handling FRAME_TYPE_FEEDBACK frames, bRPC calls Stream::SetRemoteConsumed() which contains CHECK(_cur_buf_size > 0) and unconditionally asserts CHECK(buf.IsEmpty()) on the frame payload. A feedback frame that carries an unexpected payload, or a feedback frame received on a stream where flow control is disabled (cur_buf_size == 0), reaches these assertions. On failure, CHECK failures abort the process, allowing an unauthenticated single client (once a stream is established) to terminate the server and cause a denial of service.
Affected Scenarios:
Use bRPC server with the streaming control feature (Stream API) served from untrusted network.
How to Fix:
1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue.
2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3494
The fix rejects malformed feedback frames with EPROTO and closes only the affected stream instead of crashing the whole process, and it bounds buffer shrinking so cur_buf_size never drops to 0 while flow control is enabled. |
| A reachable assertion in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows a malicious remote peer to crash the process, resulting in denial of service.
Root Cause:
When a Socket with health checking enabled fails, Socket::WaitAndReset closes its file descriptor while the event dispatcher may still be delivering an input event (EPOLLIN/EVFILT_READ) that was fetched for the just-closed fd. If the health check then succeeds and revives the Socket, Socket::Address succeeds again while the fd is still -1 (the next write reconnects on demand). In that window, Socket::OnInputEvent hits CHECK(!(events & EPOLLIN)) (or the kqueue equivalent) because the Socket is addressable but has no fd. CHECK failures terminate the process when bRPC is built with glog or when the gflag -crash_on_fatal_log is enabled (CHECK always terminates in OFFICIAL_BUILD/NDEBUG builds as well).
Affected Scenarios:
Applications using bRPC clients with health check enabled (-health_check_interval). A malicious remote peer that the client connects to can deliberately abort connections and immediately accept the health check probes, racing connection teardown against health check revival to trigger the assertion and abort the process.
How to Fix:
(Choose one of the following options)
1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue.
2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3510
Note:
After applying the fix, stale input events on a Socket revived without an fd are silently dropped instead of triggering the assertion. No user-visible interface or wire protocol is changed. |
| UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED Improper restriction of XML external entity references in Apache Abdera allows an attacker to access sensitive data or make server-side requests when an application parses attacker-controlled XML with Abdera.
This issue affects Apache Abdera: all versions.
Apache Abdera is retired and no longer supported, so we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to migrate to a maintained alternative. Applications that cannot migrate should ensure that untrusted XML cannot reach the affected Abdera parser or JDBC adapter parsing paths. Actively maintained downstream products may still be impacted if they include an affected Abdera artifact.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, the Cisco Expressway Series software engineering team has conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76491 are related to issues concerning reachable assertions that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Base CWE-617. |
| A BIND resolver that is configured with both a "redirect" zone and "qname-minimization strict" may abort with an assertion failure while processing the redirect.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.29, 9.21.0 through 9.21.26, 9.16.8-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.29-S1. |
| MikroTik RouterOS through 7.24.5 contains a session token replay vulnerability in the WebFig interface that allows attackers to bypass authentication by replaying captured session tokens across new ECDH sessions. The makeSessionKey function in libucrypto.so generates tokens using fixed salts without incorporating channel-specific or session-specific input, and the user service validates tokens against the login store without verifying channel context, enabling stolen tokens to grant persistent administrative access until the token store is explicitly cleared. This vulnerability extends the impact of CVE-2025-61481, which identified the underlying transport-layer exposure without a corresponding fix. |
| Django REST framework is a toolkit for building Web APIs. From 3.12.0 until 3.18.2, TokenProxy.delete() in rest_framework/authtoken/models.py uses the proxy's user-id pk while the concrete Token token-string primary key identifies rows, so Django issues a deletion query that matches no row and reports zero deletions without raising an error. Applications, administrative integrations, or operational scripts that revoke credentials through a TokenProxy instance can therefore believe revocation succeeded while the token remains live and continues authenticating. DRF's own TokenAdmin.delete_model workaround is not affected, but other callers can leave access available indefinitely because DRF tokens do not expire automatically. This issue is fixed in version 3.18.2. |
| OpenRemote is an open-source internet-of-things platform. Prior to 1.24.2, the KNXProtocol.startAssetImport method in agent/src/main/java/org/openremote/agent/protocol/knx/KNXProtocol.java processes 0.xml from an authenticated user's uploaded ETS project ZIP with Saxon TransformerFactoryImpl and XMLInputFactory parsers that permit external entity resolution. This incomplete remediation of CVE-2026-40882 leaves the KNX handler unprotected while the parallel Velbus handler is hardened, allowing a regular realm user to read files accessible to the JVM process or cause server-side requests. This issue is fixed in version 1.24.2. |
| The system fails to invalidate existing access tokens associated with sub-organization users during sensitive account management operations such as password reset, role change, or sub-organization disablement. This oversight allows previously issued tokens to remain active even after the user's access context has been modified or revoked through administrative actions.
The identified issue could lead to unauthorized access by a malicious actor, but only when all of the following conditions are met: previously issued access tokens remain active, and these tokens have been exposed to malicious actors. |
| Reachable exit in NTPsec ntpd 1.1.4 through 1.2.5 allows a remote attacker to terminate the daemon via an NTS request with excess NTS Cookie Placeholder extension fields. |
| A recursive BIND server that receives a query with recursion desired (RD=1) followed by a non-recursive query (RD=0) may exit with an assertion failure, resulting in a denial of service. To be vulnerable, the BIND server must allow recursive queries and have at least two RPZ zones configured: one with the default setting of "recursive-only yes", and the other with "recursive-only no".
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.16.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.29, 9.21.0 through 9.21.26, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.29-S1. |
