CVSS v3.1 |
| Initialization of a resource with an insecure default vulnerability in OpenText Advanced Authentication Server allows Excessive Allocation.
This issue affects Advanced Authentication Server: from 6.4.0.0 through 6.4.3.x, from 6.5.0.0 through 6.5.0.x, and from 6.6.0.0 through 6.6.1.0.
The fix for this is issue is to create a secure configuration. The 6.6.2.0 release has a best practice entry if the configuration is unsecure.
A secure configuration is to NOT allow creation/recreation of Unauthenticated Endpoints. If creation/recreation of Unauthenticated Endpoints is required, you should only allow it from trusted networks.
To remedy this issue, change your configuration to NOT allow creation/recreation of Unauthenticated Endpoints. If you require Unauthenticated Endpoints, you MUST change your configuration to use a non-empty whitelist to specify the trusted networks. An empty whitelist will allow all networks to create/recreate endpoints. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: fix incorrect MFT record pointer passed to ntfs_attr_record_resize
ntfs_new_attr_flags() passes the wrong MFT record to ntfs_attr_record_resize().
When the attribute is in an extent record, ctx->mrec points to the extent
but the function receives the base record pointer m, causing incorrect
size calculations in memmove.
Fix by passing ctx->mrec (the actual MFT record containing the attribute)
instead of m (the base MFT record) to ntfs_attr_record_resize(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: fix FITRIM range alignment
ntfs_trim_fs() aligns the start of a free extent up to the device discard
granularity, but derives the discard length by aligning the original extent
length down. When the free extent start is not discard-aligned, adding that
length to the aligned start can extend the discard past the free extent and
into allocated clusters.
For example, with 4 KiB clusters and 32 KiB discard granularity, the free
extent [4 KiB, 36 KiB) becomes the discard range [32 KiB, 64 KiB), so
28 KiB beyond the free extent may be discarded.
Align the absolute end of the free extent down and derive the length from
the two aligned endpoints. Skip extents that contain no full discard unit.
Reproduced with a 4 KiB-cluster NTFS filesystem on scsi_debug configured
for 32 KiB discard granularity and read-zero-after-trim. Before this
change, FITRIM zeroed seven allocated 4 KiB clusters following an unaligned
32 KiB hole. With this change, the same data remains intact across FITRIM
and remount. |
| OpenEMR before 8.5.0 contains an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the Syndromic Surveillance module that allows users with Clinician-level privileges to read and modify arbitrary database contents by submitting crafted values in the form_icd_codes[] POST parameter to the syndromicsurveillance/index endpoint. Attackers can inject an unquoted numeric IN() clause and UNION DISTINCT SELECT statement using hex-encoded literals to abuse MySQL extractvalue() for error-based exfiltration of bcrypt password hashes and execute stacked queries that reset passwords, resulting in full administrative account takeover. |
| An authenticated user in Grafana can read SSO client secrets and modify instance-wide SSO settings without the required permissions (missing authorization). This affects Grafana OSS and Enterprise 13.2 installations with the experimental kubernetesSsoSettingsApi feature toggle enabled, which is disabled by default. |
| A user with the Viewer role in Grafana can crash the server by submitting a crafted server-side math expression (uncontrolled recursion). A user with permission to provision alert rules can make the outage persist across restarts. |
| A user with query access to an Azure Monitor data source in Grafana can cause server-side requests to an attacker-controlled endpoint that disclose the data source's Azure access token (server-side request forgery). |
| A user with read access to Grafana's server logs, or to a log store they are shipped to, can recover the OAuth and OIDC access, refresh and ID tokens of users who sign in through the Generic OAuth, Google or GitLab providers. Grafana writes these tokens to its logs unredacted when an access or ID token is not a valid JWT, when the ID token is missing (at debug level) or is not a string (exposure of sensitive information in log files). The exposure is bounded by the scopes granted to the configured OAuth client. |
| A flaw was found in OpenSCAP. When decomposing a Source DataStream (SDS) file, the application does not properly validate relative file path attributes, leading to a path traversal vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this flaw by tricking a user or automated system into decomposing a crafted datastream containing directory traversal sequences. Successful exploitation allows unauthorized file creation or modification outside the intended target directory with the permissions of the executing process. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows NTFS allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) before 6.3.7 build 1 mishandles internal redirect URL validation in a certain "corner case." |
