CVSS v3.1 |
| A heap use-after-free in the gf_odf_ac4_cfg_clean_list function (/odf/descriptors.c) of GPAC Project/MP4Box before 2.5 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted AC4 file. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fprobe: Use guard(rcu_sched_notrace) and check rcu_is_watching()
unregister_fprobe() and unregister_fprobe_async() (used by BPF
kprobe-multi) rely on standard RCU grace periods (synchronize_rcu()
and call_rcu()) to wait until in-flight fprobe handlers complete before
freeing the fprobe.
However, if an fprobe handler executes while RCU is not watching (such
as in the idle loop or nohz_full extended quiescent states), standard
RCU does not track preemption-disabled sections. Consequently,
synchronize_rcu() does not wait for those executions, which can lead
to a use-after-free if the fprobe is freed immediately after
unregistration. Ensure handlers exit early when !rcu_is_watching().
Furthermore, fprobe_fgraph_entry() and fprobe_ftrace_entry() previously
used guard(rcu)() and rcu_read_lock(), which invoke lockdep on every
hit under CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING. This adds overhead and can cause lockdep
recursion if probed functions interact with lockdep.
Since rhltable_lookup() and rhl_for_each_entry_rcu() use
rcu_dereference_all_check() (which checks rcu_read_lock_any_held()),
holding preemption disabled via rcu_read_lock_sched_notrace() is fully
valid and sufficient so long as rcu_is_watching() is true.
Define and use guard(rcu_sched_notrace)() across fprobe_ftrace_entry(),
fprobe_fgraph_entry(), and fprobe_return(). This eliminates fast-path
rcu_read_lock() and lockdep overhead while guaranteeing safe grace
period synchronization. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
USB: dwc2: shut down wakeup timer before freeing HCD state
dwc2_wakeup_detected() accesses the DWC2 host state and can rearm the
wakeup timer. dwc2_hcd_free() currently deletes the timer only after
freeing host-owned state, and timer_delete() does not synchronize a
callback or prevent it from being queued again.
Stop and shut down the timer in dwc2_hcd_release(), before the HCD
resources are freed. This covers both the HCD initialization error path
and normal HCD removal. |
| A use-after-free in the gf_filter_pid_get_packet function (filter_core/filter_pid.c) of GPAC MP4Box v2.4 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted file. |
| A use-after-free exists in the Windows WFP packet-capture driver shipped with Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) before 7.4. When an IPv6 proxy/redirect rule is active, a local attacker with Administrator privileges can send a single crafted outbound IPv6 packet via a raw IPV6_HDRINCL socket to trigger this at DISPATCH_LEVEL, resulting in an immediate system crash. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Windows WFP callout driver of Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) allows a local low-privileged user to cause a denial of service (system crash / BSOD) via an outbound ICMPv6 packet containing an IPv6 Hop-by-Hop extension header. When the IPv6 ICMP redirect policy is active, the packet is copied into a buffer that is freed but subsequently passed to a downstream filter. The size of the freed allocation is attacker-controlled (via packet length), enabling kernel pool grooming. Exploitation requires that the non-default IPv6 ICMP capture/redirect policy is enabled for the endpoint. |

| Vulnerability in the Oracle Outside In Technology product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Outside In Clean Content SDK). The supported version that is affected is 8.5.8. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Outside In Technology. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Outside In Technology. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). |
| Wasmtime 47.0.0 before 48.0.4 and 49.0.0 before 49.0.2 contains a missing GC rooting vulnerability that leaves references live across try_call unrooted when compiling Wasm modules. Attackers can supply Wasm modules whose callee triggers garbage collection, leaving stale or dangling references that cause GC heap corruption or incorrect execution. |
| FreeRDP 3.32.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the drdynvc channel that frees a pool-owned stream with the owned-stream deallocator when totalLength is smaller than the chunk size. A malicious RDP server can send a single well-formed Virtual Channel PDU to trigger the free and crash the client during teardown. |
| Use after free in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
