CVSS v3.1 |
| Prior to 3385, the user-controlled role parameter enters the application in the Kubernetes::RoleVerificationsController. The role parameter flows into the RoleConfigFile initializer and then into the Kubernetes::Util.parse_file method where it is unsafely deserialized using the YAML.load_stream method. This issue may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). This vulnerability is fixed in 3385. |
| A TLS certificate verification issue discovered in cortex v0.42.1 allows attackers to obtain sensitive information via the makeOperatorRequest function. |
| goframe v2.7.2 is configured to skip TLS certificate verification, possibly allowing attackers to execute a man-in-the-middle attack via the gclient component. |
| Steeltoe is an open source project that provides a collection of libraries that helps users build production-grade cloud-native applications using externalized configuration, service discovery, distributed tracing, application management, and more. When utilizing multiple Eureka server service URLs with basic auth and encountering an issue with fetching the service registry, an error is logged with the Eureka server service URLs but only the first URL is masked. The code in question is `_logger.LogError(e, "FetchRegistry Failed for Eureka service urls: {EurekaServerServiceUrls}", new Uri(ClientConfig.EurekaServerServiceUrls).ToMaskedString());` in the `DiscoveryClient.cs` file which may leak credentials into logs. This issue has been addressed in version 3.2.8 of the Steeltoe.Discovery.Eureka nuget package. |
| TorrentPier is an open source BitTorrent Public/Private tracker engine, written in php. In `torrentpier/library/includes/functions.php`, `get_tracks()` uses the unsafe native PHP serialization format to deserialize user-controlled cookies. One can use phpggc and the chain Guzzle/FW1 to write PHP code to an arbitrary file, and execute commands on the system. For instance, the cookie bb_t will be deserialized when browsing to viewforum.php. This issue has been addressed in commit `ed37e6e52` which is expected to be included in release version 2.4.4. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as the new release is available. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability was discovered in the Arctera InfoScale 7.0 through 8.0.2 where a .NET remoting endpoint can be exploited due to the insecure deserialization of potentially untrusted messages. The vulnerability is present in the Windows Plugin_Host service, which runs on all the servers where InfoScale is installed. The service is used only when applications are configured for Disaster Recovery (DR) using the DR wizard. Disabling the Plugin_Host service manually will eliminate the vulnerability. |
| A deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability exists in common code used by FlexLogger and InstrumentStudio that may result in remote code execution. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted project file. This vulnerability affects NI FlexLogger 2024 Q1 and prior versions as well as NI InstrumentStudio 2024 Q1 and prior versions.

| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Byzoro Smart S80 Management Platform up to 20240411. Affected is an unknown function of the file /importhtml.php. The manipulation of the argument sql leads to deserialization. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. VDB-261666 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix Encryption (All versions >= V10.0.0 < V10.0.2). Affected versions of the module define a specific hard-coded default value for the EncryptionKey constant, which is used in projects where no individual EncryptionKey was specified.
This could allow to an attacker to decrypt any encrypted project data, as the default encryption key can be considered compromised. |
| MENDELSON AS4 before 2024 B376 has a client-side vulnerability when a trading partner provides prepared XML data. When a victim opens the details of this transaction in the client, files can be written to the computer on which the client process is running. (The server process is not affected.) |
| Insufficiently protected credentials issue exists in AIPHONE IX SYSTEM and IXG SYSTEM. A network-adjacent unauthenticated attacker may obtain sensitive information such as a username and its password in the address book. |
| Insecure storage of the ICT MIFARE and DESFire encryption keys in the firmware
binary allows malicious actors to create credentials for any site code and card number that is using the default
ICT encryption.
|
| Exposed IOCTL with insufficient access control issue exists in cg6kwin2k.sys prior to 2.1.7.0. By sending a specific IOCTL request, a user without the administrator privilege may perform I/O to arbitrary hardware port or physical address, resulting in erasing or altering the firmware. |
| An Unverified Password Change could allow a malicious actor with API access to the device to change the system password without knowing the previous password.

| Asus RT-N12+ B1 router stores credentials in cleartext, which could allow local attackers to obtain unauthorized access and modify router settings. |
| Judge0 is an open-source online code execution system. The application uses the UNIX chown command on an untrusted file within the sandbox. An attacker can abuse this by creating a symbolic link (symlink) to a file outside the sandbox, allowing the attacker to run chown on arbitrary files outside of the sandbox. This vulnerability is not impactful on it's own, but it can be used to bypass the patch for CVE-2024-28185 and obtain a complete sandbox escape. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.1. |
| Judge0 is an open-source online code execution system. The application does not account for symlinks placed inside the sandbox directory, which can be leveraged by an attacker to write to arbitrary files and gain code execution outside of the sandbox. When executing a submission, Judge0 writes a `run_script` to the sandbox directory. The security issue is that an attacker can create a symbolic link (symlink) at the path `run_script` before this code is executed, resulting in the `f.write` writing to an arbitrary file on the unsandboxed system. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to overwrite scripts on the system and gain code execution outside of the sandbox.

| Deserialization of untrusted data can occur in the R statistical programming language, on any version starting at 1.4.0 up to and not including 4.4.0, enabling a maliciously crafted RDS (R Data Serialization) formatted file or R package to run arbitrary code on an end user’s system when interacted with. |
| An issue was discovered in RDoc 6.3.3 through 6.6.2, as distributed in Ruby 3.x through 3.3.0. When parsing .rdoc_options (used for configuration in RDoc) as a YAML file, object injection and resultant remote code execution are possible because there are no restrictions on the classes that can be restored. (When loading the documentation cache, object injection and resultant remote code execution are also possible if there were a crafted cache.) The main fixed version is 6.6.3.1. For Ruby 3.0 users, a fixed version is rdoc 6.3.4.1. For Ruby 3.1 users, a fixed version is rdoc 6.4.1.1. For Ruby 3.2 users, a fixed version is rdoc 6.5.1.1. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC PCS neo V4.0 (All versions), SIMATIC STEP 7 V16 (All versions), SIMATIC STEP 7 V17 (All versions), SIMATIC STEP 7 V18 (All versions < V18 Update 2). Affected applications do not properly restrict the .NET BinaryFormatter when deserializing user-controllable input. This could allow an attacker to cause a type confusion and execute arbitrary code within the affected application.
This is the same issue that exists for .NET BinaryFormatter https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/code-quality/ca2300. |
