CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Fix spurious warning for benign stage 2 teardown race
kvmtool was used to establish an L1 guest with 8 CPUs and 8 GiB of RAM, an
L2 guest with 4 CPUs and 4 GiB of RAM and an L3 guest with 2 CPUs and 2 GiB
of RAM, all of which was then exited.
Under memory pressure in the L0 host warnings were observed due to
migration triggered by compaction:
WARNING: arch/arm64/kvm/mmu.c:336 at __unmap_stage2_range+0x64/0x80,
CPU#5: kcompactd0/66
Which was, in turn, triggered by an MMU notifier for the host invalidation:
mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start()
-> ... -> kvm_mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start()
-> kvm_mmu_unmap_gfn_range()
-> kvm_unmap_gfn_range()
-> kvm_nested_s2_unmap()
-> kvm_stage2_unmap_range()
-> __unmap_stage2_range()
-> stage2_apply_range()
<- -EINVAL, triggering a WARN_ON()
Racing with L0's teardown of stage 2 page tables:
exit_mm()
-> mmput()
-> __mmput()
-> exit_mmap()
-> mmu_notifier_release()
-> ... -> kvm_mmu_notifier_release()
-> kvm_flush_shadow_all()
-> kvm_arch_flush_shadow_all()
-> kvm_free_stage2_pgd()
-> [ acquire kvm->mmu_lock for write ]
-> mmu->pgt = NULL [ among other tasks ]
-> [ release kvm->mmu_lock for write ]
It turns out there is a benign race resulting in a spurious warning:
Thread A - notify: migration | Thread B - notify: release
-------------------------------|---------------------------------
< kvm->mmu_lock held > |
stage2_apply_range() |
get mmu->pgt, check !NULL |
... | kvm_arch_flush_shadow_all()
cond_resched_rwlock_write(); | < contend, sleep kvm->mmu_lock >
< drop kvm->mmu_lock > | < acquire kvm->mmu_lock>
| ...
| kvm_free_stage2_pgd()
| mmu->pgt = NULL
| < invalidate MMU >
| ...
| < release kvm->mmu_lock >
[ scheduled ] |
stage2_apply_range() |
< loop to next > |
get, mmu->pgt, check !NULL |
is NULL, return -EINVAL |
__unmap_stage2_range() |
WARN_ON(-EINVAL) <--- entirely spurious - the race was handled
correctly.
Fix the spurious warning by updating stage2_apply_range() to no longer
treat concurrent PGT teardown on lock release as an error - whether the
walker is tearing down page tables or doing something else this is a
legitimate reason to abort the operation without error.
This keeps the warning in place for all other circumstances.
In practice only __unmap_stage2_range() actually does anything with the
error so this only impacts that. |
| phpMyFAQ 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in isFaqAccessibleForUser() that treats a missing FAQ translation as visible to unauthenticated users. Attackers can send a mismatched Accept-Language header to the comments and attachments API endpoints to read comments and attachment listings of unpublished or ACL-restricted FAQs. |
| Apache CXF’s OIDC relying-party component could redirect users to an attacker-controlled URL after successful authentication. The issue occurs because attacker-controlled state parameters are preserved and later used as redirect targets without validating that the final decoded URI belongs to the RP’s origin. Both directly encoded and double-encoded external URLs can trigger the issue, depending on which validation path is used. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Transfer the hyp stack pages out of the host stage-2
fix_host_ownership() walks only the linear-map alias of each memblock
region, and the per-CPU hyp stack, mapped in the private VA range for
its guard page, has none.
Walk each stack's VA range with the same walker. |
| The Hotel Booking WordPress plugin through 3.8 does not verify that a booking record belongs to the user requesting it, allowing any authenticated user such as a Subscriber to read other customers' booking details, including their name, email address, phone number and postal address, by referencing an identifier they do not own. |
| phpMyFAQ 4.0.0 before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains a broken object-level authorization vulnerability in the PUT /api/v3.1/faq/update endpoint, which checks only the global edit_faq permission and does not verify access to the target FAQ. Authenticated users with edit_faq permission can supply the ID of a restricted FAQ they cannot view to modify its content, bypass moderation, and change its publication state. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_ct: preserve tc_skb_cb across defragmentation
tcf_ct_handle_fragments() calls nf_ct_handle_fragments() without saving
and restoring skb->cb. The defrag helper clears IPCB/IP6CB, which aliases
the tc_skb_cb/qdisc_skb_cb control buffer. Fragmented traffic through
act_ct therefore loses qdisc metadata such as pkt_segs and can trigger
WARN_ON_ONCE() in qdisc_pkt_segs() when panic_on_warn is enabled.
Save and restore the full tc_skb_cb around nf_ct_handle_fragments(),
matching the pattern used by ovs_ct_handle_fragments(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: pcrypt - restore callback for non-parallel fallback
pcrypt installs pcrypt_aead_done() on the child AEAD request before
trying to submit it through padata. If padata_do_parallel() returns
-EBUSY, pcrypt falls back to calling the child AEAD directly.
That fallback must not keep the padata completion callback. Otherwise
an asynchronous completion runs pcrypt_aead_done() even though the
request was never enrolled in padata.
Restore the original request callback and callback data before calling
the child AEAD directly. This keeps the fallback path aligned with a
direct AEAD request while leaving the parallel path unchanged. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
espintcp: use sk_msg_free_partial to fix partial send
sk_msg_free_partial() ensures consistency of the skmsg at every
iteration, without having to manually handle uncharges and offsets.
This simplifies the code, and fixes some bugs in skmsg accounting when
we don't send the full contents. |
| The issue was addressed with additional app bundle integrity checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27. A maliciously modified app may not be prevented from launching. |
| A flaw was found in RESTEasy's SourceProvider. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to perform an unauthenticated remote file read. By sending a specially crafted XML body with a DOCTYPE declaration referencing external entities to an endpoint that accepts application/xml and returns Source or StreamSource, the server can be tricked into resolving the entity and including sensitive file contents in the HTTP response. This is due to the SourceProvider.writeTo() method creating a SAXParser without disabling external entity resolution, leading to an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability. |
| A flaw was found in Quarkus. This issue occurs when receiving a request over websocket with no role-based permission specified on the GraphQL operation, Quarkus processes the request without authentication despite the endpoint being secured. This can allow an attacker to access information and functionality outside of normal granted API permissions. |
| FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.16.0, FileRise stores the isAdmin flag in remember-me tokens and restores that stale value during automatic login instead of resolving the account's current role from users.txt. A user who was issued a token while an administrator can retain administrator access after demotion, and token rotation copies the stale privilege into each replacement token. Exploitation requires possession of the pre-demotion remember-me token. This issue is fixed in version 3.16.0. |
| Renovate before 44.61.3 contains a protection mechanism bypass vulnerability that allows minimumReleaseAge checks to be skipped when a user requests a PR rebase via the rebase/retry checkbox. Attackers who publish a malicious dependency version can have it pushed into the PR and run in CI before the required release age elapses. |
| n8n before 2.41.4 and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains an authorization bypass in the Agents create endpoint, which accepts a caller-supplied Agent ID, checks permissions only against the requested project, and updates an existing Agent without verifying which project owns it. An authenticated user with read-only Agent access to another project can supply an existing Agent ID to move that Agent into their own project and rewrite its name, schema and version. |
| n8n before 2.41.4 and 2.42.0 contains an authorization bypass in the agent chat resume endpoint, which accepts a run identifier from the request body without verifying that the suspended checkpoint belongs to the caller. Authenticated project members can list and read other members' private agent conversations through project-scoped endpoints, then approve their pending tool calls, causing the tools to execute and write results into the victim's conversation. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in OpenClaw ClawScan up to 0.1.6. This impacts the function shouldSkipTargetPath of the file internal/runner/runner.go of the component Static Scanner. Performing a manipulation results in protection mechanism failure. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 0.1.7 will fix this issue. The patch is named 9f6a6fbb9f1137345566d0ab44c73893dfe112fa. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| Ellucian WebAdvisor 3.2 contains an unauthenticated XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to submit crafted XML POST requests to the /WebAdvisor/WebAdvisor endpoint without disabling external entity and DTD resolution. Attackers can exploit this flaw to force the server into SSRF requests, coerce NTLMv2 hash disclosure via attacker-controlled SMB shares, and read arbitrary files from the underlying Windows host through an out-of-band error-based channel. WebAdvisor entered end-of-support status in June 2022 and users are encouraged to migrate to Colleague Self-Service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nft_ct: bail out on template ct in get eval
I noticed this issue while looking at a historic syzbot report [1].
A rule like the one below is enough to trigger the bug:
table ip t {
chain pre {
type filter hook prerouting priority raw;
ct zone set 1
ct original saddr 1.2.3.4 accept
}
}
The first expression attaches a per-cpu template ct via
nft_ct_set_zone_eval() (nf_ct_tmpl_alloc -> kzalloc, tuple is all
zero, nf_ct_l3num(ct) == 0). The next expression then calls
nft_ct_get_eval() on the same skb, treats the template as a real ct
and hits the 16-byte memcpy path. With dreg at NFT_REG32_15 this
overflows past struct nft_regs on the kernel stack; with smaller
dreg values it silently clobbers adjacent registers.
Reject template ct at the eval entry and in nft_ct_get_fast_eval(),
mirroring the check nft_ct_set_eval() already has. Additionally,
bound the address copy in NFT_CT_SRC / NFT_CT_DST by priv->len
instead of by nf_ct_l3num(ct): nf_ct_get_tuple() zeroes the tuple
before pkt_to_tuple() fills in only the protocol-relevant leading
bytes, so the trailing bytes of tuple->{src,dst}.u3.all are
well-defined zero. priv->len is validated at rule load, so the
copy size is now bounded by the destination register rather than
by an untrusted field on the conntrack.

| Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to 0.15.0+dev, an unauthenticated attacker can provide a backslash-containing target to the /redirect endpoint, and similar post-action redirect flows are also affected. internal/urlx/urlx.go IsSameSite validates a normalized form of the target while cmd/gogs/internal/web/web.go getRedirect and other callers use the original value in the Location response. This backslash normalization mismatch lets browsers interpret the Location value as a scheme-relative external URL, allowing links on a trusted Gogs domain to redirect victims to attacker-controlled content for phishing. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0+dev. |
