CVSS v3.1 |
| libpcap BPF interpreter treats the offset in the 'ja L' BPF instruction as a signed integer to implement looping via backward jumps, but it does not limit the number of loop iterations. A crafted filter program or the 'protochain' primitive used on a crafted network packet can cause the interpreter to loop infinitely. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vxlan: mdb: Fix use-after-free in vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del()
vxlan_mdb_is_valid_source(), which validates MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE and every
MDBE_ATTR_SRC_LIST member, accepts the all-zeros address.
A source list is only accepted on a (*, G) entry, whose source is the
all-zeros address, and for each member of the list an (S, G) entry is
derived from it by substituting the source. Entries are keyed by a plain
memcmp() of struct vxlan_mdb_entry_key, so if MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE is present
and holds the all-zeros address and the source list holds it as well, the
derived (S, G) key is byte-identical to the (*, G) key and resolves to the
same entry. Omitting MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE is not equivalent, as the key is
then left with a zero address family.
vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() removes the forwarding entry of a source before
freeing the source entry:
vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del(vxlan, group, remote, &ent->addr);
vxlan_mdb_remote_src_entry_del(ent);
With the keys aliased, the first call deletes the remote of the entry that
owns 'ent' instead of a separate (S, G) entry, and frees 'ent'. The second
call then runs on the freed entry, and its hlist_del() reads ->pprev and
->next out of it and writes through them.
Adding the (*, G) entry with NLM_F_REPLACE and no source list marks the
all-zeros source for deletion and reaches this from the sweep at the end
of vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_replace().

The MDB operations are netns-scoped, so an unprivileged user can perform
them in a new user and network namespace.
Reject the all-zeros address in vxlan_mdb_is_valid_source(), which covers
both call sites. A (*, G) entry is expressed by omitting the source, so
nothing legitimate is refused.

| body-parser is body parsing middleware for Node.js and Express. In versions before 1.20.9 and in versions from 2.0.0 before 2.4.0, a single request can crash any application using body-parser with default options. When a request carries a Content-Encoding such as gzip, body-parser pipes it into a decompression stream and, after reading the body, leaves that stream with no error listener. A payload of one valid compressed frame followed by trailing bytes decodes and the application responds normally, but the trailing bytes then reach the already-finished decoder, which emits an error that is re-thrown as an uncaught exception and terminates the process. No matching route is required because body parsing runs before routing, so any endpoint that parses a body is affected. The issue is fixed in body-parser 2.4.0 and 1.20.9, and users should upgrade to one of those versions or later. As a workaround, disable request-body inflation (set the body-parser inflate option to false) so encoded requests are rejected before any decompression stream is created. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Crocoblock JetEngine jet-engine allows DOM-Based XSS.This issue affects JetEngine: from n/a through 3.8.14.3. |
| OpenCATS before 0.12.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows a low-privileged authenticated user to inject HTML/JavaScript payloads by setting a Candidate, Company, Contact, Job Order, or List name/title field, which is stored unsanitized and later rendered unescaped in the 'Recent' (MRU) navigation panel displayed on nearly every page via lib/MRU.php's getFormatted() function. Attackers can exploit this by crafting a malicious record name that executes arbitrary JavaScript in the session of any other user, including Site Administrators, who views the record, enabling session/cookie theft and privilege escalation to full administrative control. |
| Incorrect authorization checks in Amazon Athena engine version 3 query processing could have allowed an authenticated user to read AWS account identifiers and SQL statement text query metadata from other AWS accounts. Query results, and data stored in Amazon S3 or other data sources, were not accessible through this issue.
AWS remediated the issue on October 7, 2026. No customer action is required. |
