CVSS v3.1 |
Easyboot 6.6.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Replace Text function that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an oversized string. Attackers can trigger the vulnerability by accessing File > Tools > Replace Text and pasting a 7000-byte payload into the text fields to cause a denial of service.
Project64 2.3.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Plugin Directory settings field that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string. Attackers can input a 6000-byte payload into the Plugin Directory field through the Options > Settings > Directories interface to trigger an application crash when settings are reopened.
Bome Restorator 1793 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string in the Name field. Attackers can create a malicious payload exceeding 4000 bytes and paste it into the Name input field to trigger an application crash and denial of service.
Wansview 1.0.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying oversized input strings. Attackers can inject 2000-byte payloads into the Camera name and DID number fields during camera addition to trigger application crashes.
CEWE Photoshow 6.3.4 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the login dialog that allows attackers to crash the application by submitting oversized input. Attackers can inject 4000 bytes of data into the email address and password fields to trigger a denial of service condition.
Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions prior to 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14, when deserializing a slice packet, the xdr_datum() function does not validate that a cstring length conforms to the slice descriptor bounds, allowing a cstring longer than the allocated buffer to overflow it. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted packet to the server, potentially causing a crash or other security impact. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14.
Prime95 29.4b7 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the PrimeNet connection dialog that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string in the optional proxy password field. Attackers can trigger a denial of service by entering a 6000-byte payload into the proxy password parameter, causing the application to crash when processing the connection settings.
A vulnerability was detected in UTT HiPER 1250GW up to 3.2.7-210907-180535. This affects the function strcpy of the file /goform/formNatStaticMap. Performing a manipulation of the argument NatBind results in buffer overflow. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is now public and may be used.
A security vulnerability has been detected in UTT HiPER 1250GW up to 3.2.7-210907-180535. This issue affects the function strcpy of the file /goform/formConfigDnsFilterGlobal of the component Parameter Handler. Such manipulation of the argument GroupName leads to buffer overflow. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
Buffer Overflow in the "sixel_encoder_encode_bytes" function of Libsixel v1.8.6 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS).
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Netwide Assembler (NASM) due to a lack of bounds checking in the obj_directive() function. This vulnerability can be exploited by a user assembling a malicious .asm file, potentially leading to heap memory corruption, denial of service (crash), and arbitrary code execution.
Buffer overflow in the gdImageStringFTEx function in gdft.c in GD Graphics Library 2.0.33 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted string with a JIS encoded font.
Buffer overflow in the util_path_encode function in udev/lib/libudev-util.c in udev before 1.4.1 allows local users to cause a denial of service (service outage) via vectors that trigger a call with crafted arguments.
Buffer overflow in the regular expression handler in Red Hat Directory Server 8.0 and 7.1 before SP6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (slapd crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted LDAP query that triggers the overflow during translation to a regular expression.
The (1) real_lookup and (2) __lookup_hash functions in fs/namei.c in the vfs implementation in the Linux kernel before 2.6.25.15 do not prevent creation of a child dentry for a deleted (aka S_DEAD) directory, which allows local users to cause a denial of service ("overflow" of the UBIFS orphan area) via a series of attempted file creations within deleted directories.
Multiple buffer overflows in Python 2.5.2 and earlier on 32bit platforms allow context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or have unspecified other impact via a long string that leads to incorrect memory allocation during Unicode string processing, related to the unicode_resize function and the PyMem_RESIZE macro.
Multiple buffer overflows in Eudora Worldmail, possibly Worldmail 3 version 6.1.22.0, have unknown impact and attack vectors, as demonstrated by the (1) "Eudora WorldMail stack overflow" and (2) "Eudora WorldMail heap overflow" modules in VulnDisco Pack. NOTE: Some of these details are obtained from third party information. As of 20061118, this disclosure has no actionable information. However, because the VulnDisco Pack author is a reliable researcher, the issue is being assigned a CVE identifier for tracking purposes.
Buffer overflow in the FTP Service in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 through 6.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted NLST (NAME LIST) command that uses wildcards, leading to memory corruption, aka "IIS FTP Service RCE and DoS Vulnerability."
Multiple buffer overflows in STLport before 5.0.3 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors relating to (1) "print floats" and (2) a missing null termination in the "rope constructor."
Buffer overflow in the ArcSDE service (giomgr) in Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS before 9.2 Service Pack 2, when using three tiered ArcSDE configurations, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (giomgr crash) and execute arbitrary code via long parameters in crafted requests.
