CVSS v3.1 |
Harness Open Source is an end-to-end developer platform with Source Control Management, CI/CD Pipelines, Hosted Developer Environments, and Artifact Registries. Prior to version 3.3.0, Open Source Harness git LFS server (Gitness) exposes api to retrieve and upload files via git LFS. Implementation of upload git LFS file api is vulnerable to arbitrary file write. Due to improper sanitization for upload path, a malicious authenticated user who has access to Harness Gitness server api can use a crafted upload request to write arbitrary file to any location on file system, may even compromise the server. Users using git LFS are vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.0.
Linkwarden is a self-hosted, open-source collaborative bookmark manager to collect, organize and archive webpages. In version 2.10.2, the server accepts links of format file:///etc/passwd and doesn't do any validation before sending them to parsers and playwright, this can result in leak of other user's links (and in some cases it might be possible to leak environment secrets). This issue has been patched in version 2.10.3 which has not been made public at time of publication.
Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 39938.
Under certain conditions, SAP Gateway Client allows a high-privileged user to access restricted information beyond the scope of the application. Due to the possibility of influencing application behavior or performance through misuse of the exposed data, this may potentially lead to low impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
A Privilege Escalation vulnerability has been found in Panloader component v3.24.0.0 by Espiral MS Group. This vulnerability allows any user to override the file panLoad.exe that will be executed by SYSTEM user via a programmed task. This would allow an attacker to obtain administrator permissions to perform whatever activities he/she wants, shuch as accessing sensitive information, executing code remotely, and even causing a denial of service (DoS).
Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource in the TeamViewer Client (Full and Host) of TeamViewer Remote and Tensor prior Version 15.67 on Windows allows a local unprivileged user to trigger arbitrary file deletion with SYSTEM privileges via leveraging the MSI rollback mechanism. The vulnerability only applies to the Remote Management features: Backup, Monitoring, and Patch Management.
External control of file name or path issue exists in RICOH Streamline NX V3 PC Client versions 3.5.0 to 3.242.0. If an attacker sends a specially crafted request, arbitrary files in the file system can be overwritten with log data.
The CLEVER - HTML5 Radio Player With History - Shoutcast and Icecast - Elementor Widget Addon plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file read due to insufficient file path validation in the 'history.php' file in all versions up to, and including, 2.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files on the affected site's server, which may contain sensitive information including database credentials. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 2.4.
Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 39904, Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 39938.
The configuration file containing database logins and passwords is readable by any local user.
imFAQ is an advanced questions and answers management system for ImpressCMS. Prior to 1.0.1, if the $_GET['seoOp'] parameter is manipulated to include malicious input (e.g., seoOp=php://filter/read=convert.base64-encode/resource=/var/www/html/config.php), the application could allow an attacker to read sensitive files on the server (Local File Inclusion, LFI). The $_GET['seoOp'] and $_GET['seoArg'] parameters are directly used without sanitization or validation. This is partly mitigated by the fact that the ImpressCMS sensitive files are stored outside the web root, in a folder with a randomized name. The issue has been resolved in imFaq 1.0.1.
: External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in TAGFREE X-Free Uploader XFU allows : Parameter Injection. This issue affects X-Free Uploader: from 1.0.1.0084 before 1.0.1.0085, from 2.0.1.0034 before 2.0.1.0035.
Multiple Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource in UISP Application may allow a malicious actor with certain permissions to escalate privileges.
The GLPI Inventory Plugin handles various types of tasks for GLPI agents, including network discovery and inventory (SNMP), software deployment, VMWare ESX host remote inventory, and data collection (files, Windows registry, WMI). Versions prior to 1.5.0 have an improper access control vulnerability. Version 1.5.0 fixes the vulnerability.
Dependency-Track is a component analysis platform that allows organizations to identify and reduce risk in the software supply chain. Dependency-Track allows users with the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission to customize notification templates. Templates are evaluated using the Pebble template engine. Pebble supports an `include` tag, which allows template authors to include the content of arbitrary files upon evaluation. Prior to version 4.12.6, users of Dependency-Track with the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission can abuse the `include` tag by crafting notification templates that `include` sensitive local files, such as `/etc/passwd` or `/proc/1/environ`. By configuring such a template for a notification rule (aka "Alert"), and having it send notifications to a destination controlled by the actor, sensitive information may be leaked. The issue has been fixed in Dependency-Track 4.12.6. In fixed versions, the `include` tag can no longer be used. Usage of the tag will cause template evaluation to fail. As a workaround, avoid assigning the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission to untrusted users. The `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission per default is only granted to members of the `Administrators` team. Assigning this permission to non-administrative users or teams is a security risk in itself, and highly discouraged.
IXON VPN Client before 1.4.4 on Windows allows Local Privilege Escalation to SYSTEM because there is code execution from a configuration file that can be controlled by a low-privileged user. There is a race condition in which a temporary configuration file, in a world-writable directory, can be overwritten.
IXON VPN Client before 1.4.4 on Linux and macOS allows Local Privilege Escalation to root because there is code execution from a configuration file that can be controlled by a low-privileged user. There is a race condition in which a temporary configuration file, in a world-writable directory, can be overwritten.
An issue was discovered in Akamai Enterprise Application Access (EAA) before 2025-01-17. If an admin knows another tenant's 128-bit connector GUID, they can execute debug commands on that connector.
An Incorrect Permission Assignment Vulnerability exists in the product and version listed above. The vulnerability is due to incorrect permissions being assigned to the remote debugger port and can allow for unauthenticated access to the system configuration.
| File corruption vulnerabilities in ASPECT provide attackers access to overwrite sys-tem files if session administrator credentials become compromised
This issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.08.03; NEXUS Series: through 3.08.03; MATRIX Series: through 3.08.03. |
