CVSS v3.1 |
| Handlebars provides the power necessary to let users build semantic templates. From 3.0.0 until 4.7.10, Handlebars lookupProperty returns Function.prototype.constructor before applying the prototype-access deny list because constructor is an own property of Function.prototype. When an attacker can render a controlled template with allowProtoMethodsByDefault enabled and an accessible function in the template context, the template can traverse from that function through its prototype to Function.prototype and then obtain the Function constructor through the own-property bypass. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute with the server application's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 4.7.10. |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input vulnerability in VideoWhisper.com Paid Videochat Turnkey Site ppv-live-webcams allows Input Data Manipulation. This issue affects Paid Videochat Turnkey Site: from n/a through 7.5.12. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nfsd: fix handling of NFSEXP_PNFS in the netlink codepath
The rework of how block layouts were checked moved the check for
NFSEXP_PNFS out of nfsd4_setup_layout_type() and into the callers. That
patch didn't account for the new call in nfsd4_setup_layout_type(). |
| Subscriber Bypass Vulnerability in MicroPayments <= 3.2.9 versions. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: don't offload TC setup on AP_VLAN interfaces
AP_VLAN interfaces are purely virtual, so don't try to offload
TC setup to drivers. We can't really use the AP interface either
since we may not know it all the time, and it could technically
even change.
Just reject the TC offload so things get done in software. |
| An issue in FinalWire AIRDA Extreme, AIDA64 Engineer, AIDA64 Business, AIDA64 Network Audit through 7.00.6742 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the DeviceIoControl call associated with MmMapIoSpace, IoAllocateMdl, MmBuildMdlForNonPagedPool, or MmMapLockedPages components. |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.0218. |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. A local attacker with administrative privileges can cause data corruption when saving metadata to a Linux Unified Key Setup (LUKS) device. Due to incorrect boundary calculations and flawed overlap detection, new metadata entries can be written beyond available free space or over existing records. This issue can corrupt stored encrypted payload data or existing metadata, potentially rendering the affected data inaccessible. |
| In affected versions of Octopus Server, an authenticated user with permission to modify roles could bypass the protections preventing access abuse resulting in privilege escalation. It was possible for the built-in role to be weakened and the attacker's account added to a privileged team. This was achievable due to improper validation of unsafe equivalence in inputs. |
| In apu, there is a possible memory corruption due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11249004; Issue ID: MSV-9170. |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.30.0, the /inference/v1/generate endpoint in the disaggregated scale-out path accepts caller-supplied tensors in the features.kwargs_data field, cache identifiers in the features.mm_hashes field, ranges in the features.mm_placeholders field, and wire-selected multimodal field processors without rebinding them to the active model renderer contract. Forged grid geometry, field types, or non-positive placeholder lengths can terminate the shared EngineCore; when an attacker knows or can induce a victim's content hash, forged cache hashes can poison or retrieve cross-request encoder-cache state; and dropped sparse placeholder masks can alter replayed transport semantics. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.0. |
| Issue summary: An established DTLS 1.2 association using an AEAD cipher suite
can be terminated by a single unauthenticated datagram whose encrypted
fragment is shorter than the mandatory explicit IV and authentication tag
overhead.
Impact summary: An attacker who can send a datagram that is routed to an
existing DTLS 1.2 association can tear that association down without knowing
any key material. This is a Denial of Service limited to the targeted
association. There is no memory safety or confidentiality impact.
CWE: CWE-1284: Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input
Description: In TLS 1.2 and DTLS 1.2 every record protected by an AEAD cipher
suite carries an explicit IV followed by the ciphertext and an authentication
tag. When decrypting such a record the record layer passed the record length to
the cipher implementation before checking that the record was long enough to
contain the explicit IV and the tag. For a record shorter than that overhead the
cipher implementation rejected the impossible length, and the record layer
treated this as an internal failure and raised a fatal internal_error alert
instead of treating the record as one that failed authentication.
In TLS 1.2 the same record causes a fatal internal_error alert instead of the
expected bad_record_mac alert. Since any undecryptable record already
terminates a TLS connection, this is a protocol conformance issue rather than
a security issue in TLS.
The fix validates the record length against the explicit IV and tag length
before any AEAD processing, so that TLS reports bad_record_mac and DTLS
silently discards the record.
FIPS impact: no
The affected code is outside the FIPS module boundary. |
| IEEE 802.11 protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.8 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service |
| Kiteworks did not enforce the maximum permitted value for a configurable security-policy setting. An authenticated administrator could set this value outside its intended range so that the associated control never activated, while the control continued to appear enabled in the administrative interface and audit log, allowing it to be silently rendered ineffective. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
neighbour: Enforce min/max to NDTPA_INTERVAL_PROBE_TIME_MS.
NDTPA_INTERVAL_PROBE_TIME_MS sets .type and .min but misses
.validation_type, so no validation is applied:
# ynl --family rt-neigh --do setneightbl \
--json '{"name": "arp_cache", "parms": {"interval-probe-time-ms": 0}}'
# ynl --family rt-neigh --dump getneightbl --output-json | \
jq '.[] | select(.name == "arp_cache" and has("config"))
| .parms["interval-probe-time-ms"]'
0
Moreover, nla_get_msecs() uses msecs_to_jiffies(), and u64 is
silently cast to u32, so a larger value can bypass the min check:
e.g. 4294967296 == 0x100000000
# ynl --family rt-neigh --do setneightbl \
--json '{"name": "arp_cache", "parms": {"interval-probe-time-ms": 4294967296}}'
# ynl --family rt-neigh --dump getneightbl --output-json | \
jq '.[] | select(.name == "arp_cache" and has("config"))
| .parms["interval-probe-time-ms"]'
0
msecs_to_jiffies() returns MAX_JIFFY_OFFSET if the value is
larger than INT_MAX. Also, INT_MAX ms overflows int NEIGH_VAR()
when HZ > 1000 (Alpha, MIPS), and passing a negative integer to
queue_delayed_work(unsigned long delay) causes sign extension,
which wraps around the expiry time to the past, resulting in it
being handled as 0 delay in the timer wheel.
Let's use NLA_POLICY_FULL_RANGE() and limit the max to 1 day.
The same max check is applied to sysctl as well.
Note that this controls the probe interval for NTF_MANAGED
entries, so the max of 1 day is unlikely to break any
deployments. |
| H5Z__filter_fletcher32 in H5Zfletcher32.c in HDF5 prior to 2.3.0 computes the data length to checksum by subtracting the 4-byte trailing checksum size from the input buffer size without checking that the buffer is at least 4 bytes, allowing a size_t underflow. This allows attackers to cause a denial of service (massively out-of-bounds read and application crash in H5_checksum_fletcher32) via a crafted HDF5 file with a Fletcher32-filtered chunk smaller than 4 bytes, triggered via H5Dread, e.g. by the h5ls or h5dump tools. |
| H5Z__filter_nbit in H5Znbit.c in HDF5 prior to 2.3.0 dereferences cd_values[0] through cd_values[4] without validating that cd_values is non-NULL or that cd_nelmts is at least 5, the fixed size of the filter's header. This allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted HDF5 file that stores the N-Bit filter pipeline message with zero client-data values, opened and read via H5Dread, e.g. by the h5ls or h5repack tools. |
| An integer underflow vulnerability in the WatchGuard Fireware OS IKE daemon (iked) allows a remote attacker who has completed the initial IKEv2 handshake to crash the iked process by sending a specially crafted encrypted IKEv2 message, resulting in a denial of service. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT signature segment is affected because signature segment decoding accepts characters outside the canonical Base64URL representation. This occurs when non-Base64URL characters are appended to a valid compact JWS signature segment. As a result, base64url_decode produces the same signature bytes for different serialized segments. Consequently, raw-token revocation checks can fail to recognize an equivalent modified token. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted XML input to the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) endpoint. This malicious input can cause high CPU usage and worker thread starvation, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) where the server becomes unavailable. |
