CVSS v3.1 |
| Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: Report Distribution). Supported versions that are affected are 8.61-8.63. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). |
| Networknt light-4j from 2.1.5 before 2.4.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in BasicAuthHandler that allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as LDAP/AD-delegated users. Attackers can send a Basic Authorization header with a known username and empty password, triggering an unauthenticated LDAP bind that is accepted as successful authentication. |
| An unauthenticated user can send a DWR request with isPasswordUppercase as one call method and the next call method can be set to a run workflow rule. This allows for workflow rules to be run without authentication. |
| A failure has been identified in the SNS during dynamic data files signature check.
A logic error in the signature verification routine resulting in acceptance of unauthenticated dynamic data update during Autoupdate routine. |
| Authentication bypass within in-house network in Apache Kylin. Impact most to the kylin services that are directly exposed to public network, which is not common. In-house kylin deployments are mostly not impacted.
This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4.0.4 through 5.0.4.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue. |
| This issue was addressed through improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. An attacker with physical access to a locked device may be able to bypass Digital ID authentication when iPhone Mirroring is active. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Kylin. Unauthenticated user may access to system cleanup actions. Impact most to the kylin services that are directly exposed to public network, which is not common. In-house kylin deployments are mostly not impacted.
This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4 through 5.0.4.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue. |
| A vulnerability in the proprietary protocol could allow an attacker to bypass the authentication mechanism. |
| A logic error exists in the signature verification routine resulting in acceptance of unauthenticated update and license files.It is necessary to use only the MyStormshield servers to retrieve update files or licenses, or to use automatic verification via SNS. |
| Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. From 2.0.0 until 2.5.0, POST /api/login checks EnabledOTP but does not require a WebAuthn assertion when EnabledPasskey is true and no TOTP secret is configured. A passkey-only account is therefore issued a session after password verification, despite Enabled2FA reporting that the account has a second factor. An attacker who obtains the password can take over the account and reach administrative functionality without the registered passkey. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.0. |
| IBM TRIRIGA Application Platform 5.0.0 through 5.0.8 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code due to improper authentication. |
| phpMyFAQ 4.0.0 before 4.1.9 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability where WebAuthn registration endpoints attach credentials to any account without authentication or challenge validation. Attackers can stage a victim username, submit a forged fmt=none attestation to register a passkey, then log in bypassing passwords and TOTP for account takeover. |
| Gitea resolved the principals of an SSH certificate by searching the content of all stored public keys instead of only principal keys. When Gitea trusts a user certificate authority (`SSH_TRUSTED_USER_CA_KEYS`) and accepts arbitrary principals (`SSH_AUTHORIZED_PRINCIPALS_ALLOW=anything`), a user could register another user's public key line as their own principal, or a holder of a certificate signed by that authority could list it, and then authenticate as the owner of that key through the HTTP signature API and the built-in SSH server. Instances that do not trust a user certificate authority are not affected. |
| FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.23.0, FileRise maps an authenticated OIDC identity to a local account using mutable preferred_username or email claims and does not require email_verified for email-based naming. An attacker who can obtain provider-issued claims colliding with an existing local username can be logged in as that account, including the built-in administrator, even when automatic provisioning is disabled. Exploitability depends on the configured identity provider allowing the colliding claim. This issue is fixed in version 3.23.0. |
| The Gitea OpenID association callback in the security settings accepted a positive OpenID 2.0 assertion without checking that the signed-in user had started the linking. Because OpenID 2.0 allows unsolicited assertions, an attacker-controlled OpenID provider could attach the attacker's identity to the account of a signed-in victim who opened a crafted link, and the attacker could then sign in as the victim through OpenID login, which does not apply the local TOTP or WebAuthn checks. The callback now requires a time-limited `state` value bound to the user. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sctp: auth: verify auth requirement when auth_chunk is NULL
sctp_auth_chunk_verify() returns true unconditionally when
chunk->auth_chunk is NULL, silently skipping authentication.
This is incorrect when:
1. skb_clone() failed in the BH receive path, leaving auth_chunk
NULL. In sctp_endpoint_bh_rcv() asoc is NULL for new
connections, so the early sctp_auth_recv_cid() check cannot
catch this.
2. No AUTH chunk precedes COOKIE-ECHO, so skb_clone() is never
called and auth_chunk remains NULL.
Fix by checking sctp_auth_recv_cid() when auth_chunk is NULL:
if authentication is required, return false to drop the chunk;
otherwise continue normally. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Camel Shiro component.
This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1.
The Shiro security processor skipped credential verification when the subject already bound to the current thread carried the same principal as the incoming exchange. Because the thread that carries a Camel exchange is drawn from a pool and reused across exchanges, a subject left bound by an earlier authenticated exchange could satisfy the check for a later one that presented no valid credentials of its own. The password on the incoming exchange was, in that case, never verified. The condition depends on thread reuse and on the principal matching, which is why it is not reached on every request, but it requires nothing of the attacker beyond sending a request naming a principal that is in active use.
Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. The processor now verifies the presented credentials on every exchange rather than accepting a subject already bound to the thread. Setting alwaysReauthenticate=false restores the previous behaviour for deployments that depend on it. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, ensure the Shiro subject is cleared from the thread at the end of every exchange so that no subject can be inherited by a later one. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: SMP: derive legacy responder STK authentication from MITM state
The legacy responder path in smp_random() currently labels the stored
STK as authenticated whenever pending_sec_level is BT_SECURITY_HIGH.
That reflects what the local service requested, not what the pairing
flow actually achieved.
For Just Works/Confirm legacy pairing, SMP_FLAG_MITM_AUTH stays clear
and the resulting STK should remain unauthenticated even if the local
side requested HIGH security. Use the established MITM state when
storing the responder STK so the key metadata matches the pairing result.
This also keeps the legacy path aligned with the Secure Connections code,
which already treats JUST_WORKS/JUST_CFM as unauthenticated. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix krb5 mount with username option
Customer reported that some of their krb5 mounts were failing against
a single server as the client was trying to mount the shares with
wrong credentials. It turned out the client was reusing SMB session
from first mount to try mounting the other shares, even though a
different username= option had been specified to the other mounts.
By using username mount option along with sec=krb5 to search for
principals from keytab is supported by cifs.upcall(8) since
cifs-utils-4.8. So fix this by matching username mount option in
match_session() even with Kerberos.
For example, the second mount below should fail with -ENOKEY as there
is no 'foobar' principal in keytab (/etc/krb5.keytab). The client
ends up reusing SMB session from first mount to perform the second
one, which is wrong.
```
