CVSS v3.1 |
| vLLM before 0.31.0 contains a cross-request mask leak in InputBatch.condense() that allows remote attackers to constrain other clients' outputs by leaving stale allowed_token_ids rows. Attackers can submit concurrent constrained generate requests, including via unauthenticated /invocations, so recycled batch slots apply their token allowlist to victims' unrestricted requests. |
| @fastify/oauth2 is a Fastify wrapper for OAuth2 login flows. In versions 7.2.0 through 8.3.1, the state and code-verifier cookies are set without a Path attribute at a login route with two or more path segments, while the clearing step at the OAuth callback writes them with a root path, so the original cookies survive the callback and the documented single-use guarantee for the state value does not hold. A state value an attacker learns stays valid for the rest of the browser session, letting the attacker drive their own authorization flow in the victim's browser and sign the victim in to the attacker's account (login CSRF). The issue is fixed in @fastify/oauth2 8.3.2, and users should upgrade to 8.3.2 or later. As a workaround, set an explicit cookie path so the set and the clear name the same cookie. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
virtio_ring: fix stale descriptor flags after a failed packed add
In a packed ring the AVAIL and USED bits sit in the descriptor itself,
so writing them makes that descriptor available. Those bit combinations
flip meaning on every round of the ring, tracked by a wrap counter, so
invalidating or validating a descriptor means inverting both bits.
Commit 1ce9e6055fa0 ("virtio_ring: introduce packed ring support") has
virtqueue_add_packed() make every descriptor of a chain available as it
maps the chain, and write the head last. The device consumes the ring in
order and stops at a head that is not available yet, so it never reaches
the rest.
When vring_map_one_sg() fails partway, unmap_release unmaps the segments
and restores avail_used_flags, but the descriptors it wrote to in the
ring stay marked with AVAIL and USED bits. The head is now the only
entry that keeps the device from consuming these stale entries.
For example, the ring would look like this now.
Z - pre-previous command
A - previous command
B - aborted command
C - current command
[A1 DONE] [A2 DONE] <C1 EMPTY> [B2] [B3] [Z1 DONE]
When the driver now attempts to issue the C command, the next add starts
at the same head as B. If C spans less descriptors than B, there is no
end marker because AVAIL and USED bits were still in place. And that
means the device will start interpreting these stale entries (B2/B3) as
another command entry, which then blocks the queue.
This effect typically happens in swiotlb configurations under memory
pressure, because vring_map_one_sg() can then fail with larger I/O
requests which then leads to command abortions.
There are broadly 2 ways to avoid leaving those flags behind:
1) Defer those flags too until the chain is complete.
2) Rewrite those flags for the previous wrap counter.
Implement the second option in both packed add paths. The first option
traverses the chain a second time on every successful add. The second
option invalidates all added descriptors when any add fails.
With this patch applied, a packed virtqueue keeps completing requests
after a failed add. |

smb/server: fix session leak in ksmbd_session_register()
See the procedure below:
smb2_sess_setup
ksmbd_smb2_session_create
__session_create
atomic_set(&sess->refcnt, 2)
hash_add(sessions_table, &sess->hlist, sess->id)
ksmbd_session_register
xa_store(&conn->sessions, sess->id, sess) // fail
ksmbd_user_session_put
atomic_dec(&sess->refcnt) // refcnt is 1, session is not freed
Remove the session from sessions_table and drop its table reference if
xa_store() fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
f2fs: fix dentry folio leak in find_in_level
find_in_level() gets a dentry folio with f2fs_find_data_folio() before
calling find_in_block(). If find_in_block() returns an error, the
function stores the error in res_folio and breaks out of the loop without
dropping the dentry folio.
This leaks the folio reference on the find_in_block() error path. Drop
the dentry folio before returning the error to the caller. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI: Allow per function PCI slots to fix slot reset on s390
On s390 systems, which use a machine level hypervisor, PCI devices are
always accessed through a form of PCI pass-through which fundamentally
operates on a per PCI function granularity. This is also reflected in the
s390 PCI hotplug driver which creates hotplug slots for individual PCI
functions. Its reset_slot() function, which is a wrapper for
zpci_hot_reset_device(), thus also resets individual functions.
Currently, the pci_create_slot() assigns the same pci_slot object to
multifunction devices. This approach worked fine on s390 systems that only
exposed virtual functions as individual PCI domains to the operating
system. Since commit 44510d6fa0c0 ("s390/pci: Handling multifunctions")
s390 supports exposing the topology of multifunction PCI devices by
grouping them in a shared PCI domain. This creates a problem when resetting
a function through the hotplug driver's slot_reset() interface.
When attempting to reset a function through the hotplug driver, the shared
slot assignment causes the wrong function to be reset instead of the
intended one. It also leaks memory as we do create a pci_slot object for
the function, but don't correctly free it in pci_slot_release().
Add a flag for struct pci_slot to allow per function PCI slots for
functions managed through a hypervisor, which exposes individual PCI
functions while retaining the topology. Since we can use all 8 bits for
slot 'number' (for ARI devices), change slot 'number' u16 to account for
special values PCI_SLOT_PLACEHOLDER and PCI_SLOT_ALL_DEVICES. |

Similar to airoha_qdma_cleanup_rx_queue(), reset DMA TX descriptors in

TX_CPU_IDX to notify the NIC the QDMA TX ring is empty. |

[CAUSE]
Inside btrfs_write_and_wait_transaction(), we first try to write all
dirty ebs, then wait for them to finish.
After that we call btrfs_extent_io_tree_release() to free all
extent states from dirty_pages io tree.
However if we hit an error from btrfs_write_marked_extent(), then we
still call btrfs_extent_io_tree_release() to clear that dirty_pages io
tree, which may contain dirty records that we haven't yet submitted.
Furthermore, the later transaction cleanup path will utilize that
dirty_pages io tree to properly cleanup those dirty ebs, but since it's
already empty, no dirty ebs are properly cleaned up, thus will later
trigger the warnings inside invalidate_btree_folios().

spi: mpc52xx: fix controller deregistration
Make sure to deregister the controller before disabling and releasing

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: chipidea: udc: fix DMA and SG cleanup in _ep_nuke()
The ChipIdea UDC driver can encounter "not page aligned sg buffer"
errors when a USB device is reconnected after being disconnected
during an active transfer. This occurs because _ep_nuke() returns
requests to the gadget layer without properly unmapping DMA buffers
or cleaning up scatter-gather bounce buffers.
Root cause:
When a disconnect happens during a multi-segment DMA transfer, the
request's num_mapped_sgs field and sgt.sgl pointer remain set with
stale values. The request is returned to the gadget driver with status
-ESHUTDOWN but still has active DMA state. If the gadget driver reuses
this request on reconnect without reinitializing it, the stale DMA
state causes _hardware_enqueue() to skip DMA mapping (seeing non-zero
num_mapped_sgs) and attempt to use freed/invalid DMA addresses,
leading to alignment errors and potential memory corruption.
The normal completion path via _hardware_dequeue() properly calls
usb_gadget_unmap_request_by_dev() and sglist_do_debounce() before
returning the request. The _ep_nuke() path must do the same cleanup
to ensure requests are returned in a clean, reusable state.
Fix:
Add DMA unmapping and bounce buffer cleanup to _ep_nuke() to mirror
the cleanup sequence in _hardware_dequeue():
- Call usb_gadget_unmap_request_by_dev() if num_mapped_sgs is set
- Call sglist_do_debounce() with copy=false if bounce buffer exists
This ensures that when requests are returned due to endpoint shutdown,
they don't retain stale DMA mappings. The 'false' parameter to
sglist_do_debounce() prevents copying data back (appropriate for
shutdown path where transfer was aborted). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
usb: gadget: f_eem: Fix net_device lifecycle with device_move
The net_device is allocated during function instance creation and
registered during the bind phase with the gadget device as its sysfs
parent. When the function unbinds, the parent device is destroyed, but
the net_device survives, resulting in dangling sysfs symlinks:
console:/ # ls -l /sys/class/net/usb0
lrwxrwxrwx ... /sys/class/net/usb0 ->
/sys/devices/platform/.../gadget.0/net/usb0
console:/ # ls -l /sys/devices/platform/.../gadget.0/net/usb0
ls: .../gadget.0/net/usb0: No such file or directory
Use device_move() to reparent the net_device between the gadget device
tree and /sys/devices/virtual across bind and unbind cycles. During the
final unbind, calling device_move(NULL) moves the net_device to the
virtual device tree before the gadget device is destroyed. On rebinding,
device_move() reparents the device back under the new gadget, ensuring
proper sysfs topology and power management ordering.
To maintain compatibility with legacy composite drivers (e.g., multi.c),
the bound flag is used to indicate whether the network device is shared
and pre-registered during the legacy driver's bind phase. |

[CAUSE]
That failure is mostly from cow_file_range(), where we can hit -ENOSPC.
Although the -ENOSPC is already a bug related to our space reservation
code, let's just focus on the error handling.
For example, we have the following dirty range [0, 64K) of an inode,
with 4K sector size and 4K page size:
0 16K 32K 48K 64K
|///////////////////////////////////////|
|#######################################|
Where |///| means page are still dirty, and |###| means the extent io
tree has EXTENT_DELALLOC flag.
- Enter extent_writepage() for page 0
- Enter btrfs_run_delalloc_range() for range [0, 64K)
- Enter cow_file_range() for range [0, 64K)
- Function btrfs_reserve_extent() only reserved one 16K extent
So we created extent map and ordered extent for range [0, 16K)
0 16K 32K 48K 64K
|////////|//////////////////////////////|
|<- OE ->|##############################|
And range [0, 16K) has its delalloc flag cleared.
But since we haven't yet submit any bio, involved 4 pages are still
dirty.
- Function btrfs_reserve_extent() returns with -ENOSPC
Now we have to run error cleanup, which will clear all
EXTENT_DELALLOC* flags and clear the dirty flags for the remaining
ranges:
0 16K 32K 48K 64K
|////////| |
| | |
Note that range [0, 16K) still has its pages dirty.
- Some time later, writeback is triggered again for the range [0, 16K)
since the page range still has dirty flags.
- btrfs_run_delalloc_range() will do nothing because there is no
EXTENT_DELALLOC flag.
- extent_writepage_io() finds page 0 has no ordered flag
Which falls into the COW fixup path, triggering the BUG_ON().
Unfortunately this error handling bug dates back to the introduction of
btrfs. Thankfully with the abuse of COW fixup, at least it won't crash
the kernel.
[FIX]
Instead of immediately unlocking the extent and folios, we keep the extent
and folios locked until either erroring out or the whole delalloc range
finished.
When the whole delalloc range finished without error, we just unlock the
whole range with PAGE_SET_ORDERED (and PAGE_UNLOCK for !keep_locked
cases)

[CAUSE]
The first two lines of extra debug messages show the problem is caused
by the error handling of run_delalloc_nocow().
E.g. we have the following dirtied range (4K blocksize 4K page size):
0 16K 32K
|//////////////////////////////////////|
| Pre-allocated |
And the range [0, 16K) has a preallocated extent.
- Enter run_delalloc_nocow() for range [0, 16K)
Which found range [0, 16K) is preallocated, can do the proper NOCOW
write.
- Enter fallback_to_fow() for range [16K, 32K)
Since the range [16K, 32K) is not backed by preallocated extent, we
have to go COW.
- cow_file_range() failed for range [16K, 32K)
So cow_file_range() will do the clean up by clearing folio dirty,
unlock the folios.
Now the folios in range [16K, 32K) is unlocked.
- Enter extent_clear_unlock_delalloc() from run_delalloc_nocow()
Which is called with PAGE_START_WRITEBACK to start page writeback.
But folios can only be marked writeback when it's properly locked,
thus this triggered the VM_BUG_ON_FOLIO().
Furthermore there is another hidden but common bug that
run_delalloc_nocow() is not clearing the folio dirty flags in its error
handling path.
This is the common bug shared between run_delalloc_nocow() and
cow_file_range().
[FIX]

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
udp: remove a disconnected socket from the 4-tuple hash table
A UDP socket bound to a specific address and port keeps its entry in the
4-tuple hash table after it is disconnected:
sk binds to 127.0.0.1:21001
sk connects to 127.0.0.2:20001 // filed in the 4-tuple table
sk disconnects, connect(AF_UNSPEC) // still filed, peer now 0.0.0.0:0
__udp_disconnect() takes a socket out of that table only as a side effect
of ->rehash() or ->unhash(), and it skips ->rehash() when
SOCK_BINDADDR_LOCK is set and ->unhash() when SOCK_BINDPORT_LOCK is set.
commit 6996a2d2d0a6 ("udp: Unhash auto-bound connected sk from 4-tuple hash
table when disconnected.") fixed the same end state for a wildcard-bound
socket, by a path this one does not take.
The entry is counted whether or not anything hits it. hash4_cnt on the
hash2 slot stays raised for as long as the socket lives, so udp_has_hash4()
keeps sending every packet for that address and port through the 4-tuple
lookup first.
On IPv6 it can also be hit. __udp_disconnect() does not clear sk_v6_daddr,
so udp_v6_rehash() files the entry under the peer the socket was connected
to with a zero dport, and inet6_match() compares that same
field: a datagram from the former peer with a zero source port matches,
and source port zero is accepted on receive. On IPv4 the peer is cleared,
so a match would need a zero source address as well, which the routing
layer rejects as martian. The stale sk_v6_daddr is a separate defect, not
addressed here; removing the entry closes this path either way.
The entry can also be relocated. __udp_disconnect() clears sk_bound_dev_if,
so a subsequent SO_BINDTODEVICE calls ->rehash(), and because the receive
address is still specific udp_lib_rehash() moves the entry instead of
removing it, into the bucket that (rcv_saddr, num, 0, 0) hashes to -- a
pure function of the address and port, so every socket reaching this state
on one address and port collects in one bucket. The bucket cannot be chosen
from outside, as udp_ehashfn() is seeded with a per-boot secret. This last
one became reachable only with commit 644f9108f3a5 ("udp: Make rehash4
independent in udp_lib_rehash()"), which moved the hash4 handling out of a
branch a disconnected socket does not take; the stale entry itself dates
from the commit in Fixes.
Take the socket out of the table before __udp_disconnect() runs, while it
still matches how it was filed. This also reaches the wildcard case ahead
of udp_lib_rehash()'s udp_unhash4() branch, leaving that branch unreachable
from udp_disconnect(); removing it belongs in net-next. udp_disconnect()
and udp_abort() are the only UDP entries into __udp_disconnect(), which is
shared with raw, ping and l2tp sockets that are not struct udp_sock:
ping_prot.obj_size is sizeof(struct inet_sock), so udp_hashed4() on one
would read past the allocation. |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0, the unauthenticated Rich Text CSV conversion route writes a multipart upload to the system temporary directory before checking its extension and does not remove the staged file when that validation rejects it. Repeated large rejected uploads, using the normal public CSRF cookie, can persistently consume temporary-disk capacity and may disrupt ApostropheCMS and other services that depend on the same partition. This issue is fixed in version 4.33.0. |
| Incomplete cleanup vulnerability in Apache Tomcat could cause TLS 1.3 connections to fail intermittently.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M21 through 11.0.26, from 10.1.25 through 10.1.60, from 9.0.90 through 9.0.122.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.27, 10.1.61 or 9.0.123, which fix the issue. |
