| CVE-2026-98482 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 6.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: llcp: drop truncated I/RR/RNR PDUs in nfc_llcp_recv_hdlc() nfc_llcp_recv_hdlc() reads the sequence byte skb->data[2], via nfc_llcp_ns()/nfc_llcp_nr(), before any length check. The receive path only guarantees the two-byte LLCP header -- __nfc_llcp_recv() checks it with pskb_may_pull() and nfc_llcp_recv_agf() admits two-byte inner PDUs -- so a two-byte I, RR or RNR PDU reads one byte of uninitialised skb tailroom. The byte becomes N(R)/N(S); a peer can already set those with a well-formed PDU, so this is acting on uninitialised memory, not new peer control. Guard the read with pskb_may_pull(), as commit 95674f506c63 ("nfc: llcp: reject PDUs shorter than the LLCP header") did for the two-byte header, so the sequence byte is present and linear before it is read. RR and RNR PDUs are LLCP_HEADER_SIZE + LLCP_SEQUENCE_SIZE bytes and an I PDU is longer, so no valid frame is rejected; a truncated PDU is malformed, so return without a DM reply. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98601 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 6.2 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: validate device-supplied DMA indices In btintel_pcie_msix_rx_handle(), the driver processes RX completion descriptors (urbd1) written by the PCIe device into DMA-coherent memory. urbd1->frbd_tag (a 16-bit field fully controlled by the device firmware via DMA) is used directly as an array index into rxq->bufs[] without any bounds check. rxq->bufs[] has only BTINTEL_PCIE_RX_DESCS_COUNT (64) entries, while frbd_tag can be any value 0-65535. A malicious or malfunctioning device can write an out-of-range frbd_tag, causing the driver to dereference an out-of-bounds data_buf pointer. Additionally, cr_hia is read from a DMA-shared index array also writable by the device; if the device sets cr_hia >= rxq->count, the while-loop never terminates because cr_tia is wrapped via modulo rxq->count and can never equal an out-of-range cr_hia. Add bounds validation for cr_hia and frbd_tag in the RX path, and cr_hia in the TX path. Log invalid values with bt_dev_err before returning. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98623 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/clk: fix list cursor use after loop in nvkm_clk_ustate_update If list_for_each_entry() exits without hitting a break then "pstate" is not a valid pstate pointer. Introduce a "found" variable instead. The check is reachable from userspace: nvkm_clk_ustate_update() takes the pstate id straight from the 'pstate' debugfs file, so requesting an id that is not in clk->states - or any id at all when the perf tables are broken and the list is empty - makes the pstate->pstate != req test dereference the list head cast to a struct nvkm_pstate, which is an out-of-bounds read. [Francesco: rebased on drm-misc-next, expanded the commit message] | ||||
| CVE-2026-73252 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-10-22 | 7.5 High |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TLS stack selected by MG_TLS_BUILTIN in src/tls_builtin.c accepts a TLS 1.3 record whose decrypted size is exactly the 16-byte authentication tag with no plaintext or ContentType byte. In mg_tls_recv_record(), the msgsz length check permits that record and the recv_len calculation underflows to SIZE_MAX, so a later handshake step treats stale buffer contents as a trusted message with an effectively unbounded length. An unauthenticated malicious TLS peer can trigger a heap out-of-bounds read before certificate or Finished validation, causing a remote denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 7.23. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73260 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-10-22 | 7.5 High |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TLS certificate parser selected by MG_TLS_BUILTIN fails to verify that a long-form DER element length fits within the remaining certificate buffer. In mg_der_to_tlv() and mg_der_next(), a peer-controlled length can advance the parser beyond the certificate and underflow the remaining uint32_t length, causing mg_tls_parse_cert_der() to continue walking an invalid pointer. An unauthenticated malicious TLS server, or a client presenting a certificate to a server configured for client certificates, can trigger an out-of-bounds read and denial of service during the handshake. This issue is fixed in version 7.23. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73261 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-10-22 | 7.5 High |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, the built-in TCP/IP stack enabled by MG_ENABLE_TCPIP in src/net_builtin.c does not reject a TCP option whose declared opts[1] length exceeds the remaining option bytes. In handle_opt(), a NOP followed by a truncated MSS option causes opts[3] to be read outside the declared options area and used as the low byte of dmss. An unauthenticated remote peer can corrupt the per-connection MSS value so later mg_send() calls transmit truncated or zero-length application payloads while the TCP connection otherwise appears healthy. This issue is fixed in version 7.23. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63626 | 1 Cesanta | 1 Mongoose | 2026-10-22 | 8.8 High |
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, ppp_handle_ipv6cp() in src/l2_ppp.c trusts the 16-bit IPv6CP len field without checking it against the received payload size. On a PPP or PPPoE link using MG_ENABLE_TCPIP and MG_ENABLE_IPV6, an unauthenticated adjacent peer can complete the required LCP exchange and send a short Configure-Request with an oversized length, causing ppp_tx_frame() to read beyond recv_queue.buf and write beyond tx.buf. The same length misuse can also expose adjacent heap bytes in a reply or hang the event loop through find_opt(). This issue is fixed in version 7.23. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98631 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: Use a 32-bit compare in xsk_map_gen_lookup xsk_map_gen_lookup() loads a u32 key and compares it with max_entries using BPF_JMP_IMM. BPF immediates are sign-extended to 64 bits, so a max_entries value of 0x80000000 or higher becomes a threshold larger than every zero-extended 32-bit key. An out-of-range index then skips the bounds check and the generated lookup reads past xsk_map[]. Compare with BPF_JMP32_IMM so the check stays in 32-bit unsigned range. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98640 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: amd_sfh: Validate PCI BAR size before mapping The amd_sfh driver maps PCI BAR 2 using pcim_iomap_regions() and subsequently accesses MMIO registers at offsets up to 0x10958 (e.g., AMD_P2C_MSG3 at 0x1068C). However, the driver never validates that the BAR size is large enough to cover these accesses. If the driver is bound to a device with a smaller BAR 2, this leads to an out-of-bounds memory access and a page fault during the probe function. For example, a page fault can occur when reading from privdata->mmio + AMD_P2C_MSG3 in mp2_select_ops(): BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffc9000390368c PGD 100000067 P4D 100000067 PUD 1012c1067 PMD 105b64067 PTE 0 Oops: Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI RIP: 0010:readl arch/x86/include/asm/io.h:59 [inline] RIP: 0010:mp2_select_ops drivers/hid/amd-sfh-hid/amd_sfh_pcie.c:282 [inline] RIP: 0010:amd_mp2_pci_probe+0x337/0x5f0 drivers/hid/amd-sfh-hid/amd_sfh_pcie.c:487 Call Trace: <TASK> local_pci_probe drivers/pci/pci-driver.c:332 [inline] pci_call_probe drivers/pci/pci-driver.c:394 [inline] __pci_device_probe drivers/pci/pci-driver.c:455 [inline] pci_device_probe+0x431/0xc90 drivers/pci/pci-driver.c:489 Fix this by verifying that the length of BAR 2 is at least 128KB before attempting to map it. Since the maximum accessed offset is 0x10958, and PCI BAR sizes are powers of 2, any legitimate hardware will have a BAR size of at least 128KB. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98648 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/uv: Prevent potential out-of-bounds read When the system has more than 85 secrets, the uv_secret_list struct array only holds up to 85 items per page, resulting in an out of bounds read in find_secret_in_page if the targeted secret is in the next page or not stored at all. Fix this by looping over the number of stored secrets which is the per sub-list count of stored secrets and not the overall count. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98658 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: proximity: aw96103: validate firmware data length The firmware parser reads a length from the binary header and then uses it to walk six-byte register/value entries. A truncated firmware image can make the parser read beyond the copied firmware buffer. A value smaller than the four-byte count field also underflows, producing a very large length. Read the little-endian field with get_unaligned_le32(), as previously proposed by David Lechner. Validate the header size, reject an underflowed length, ensure the resulting payload is contained in the firmware image, and require it to contain whole register/value entries. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33789 | 1 Juniper Networks | 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved | 2026-10-22 | 9.8 Critical |
| A Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated BGP peer to cause a denial of service and potential root-level command execution via crafted BGP route updates when the BGP Monitoring Protocol (BMP) is enabled. | ||||
| CVE-2026-33792 | 1 Juniper Networks | 1 Junos Os | 2026-10-22 | 9.8 Critical |

| CVE-2026-92152 | 1 Nasa | 1 Fprime | 2026-10-22 | N/A |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. From 4.1.0 until 4.2.0, Svc::GenericHub output-port dispatch is vulnerable because the deserialized port field is passed to serialOut_out, bufferOut_out, eventOut_out, or tlmOut_out without an explicit range check. When a remote hub packet supplies a port index outside the configured output-port array, assert-enabled builds abort, while builds without assertions can access an output-port array out of bounds, corrupt heap memory, and potentially allow remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0. | ||||

| CVE-2026-112403 | 1 Python-pillow | 1 Pillow | 2026-10-22 | N/A |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, Pillow's JPEG decoder can write a full-width scanline into a buffer sized for a requested draft scale. ImagingJpegDecode does not verify libjpeg's actual output width and component count after scaling is requested, and an 8-bit lossless SOF3 JPEG decoded by a build linked to libjpeg-turbo 3.x can ignore the requested downscaling geometry. An attacker can supply such a JPEG to an application that uses draft() or thumbnail() to request downscaling. This can corrupt heap memory, crash the process, or potentially allow code execution. Older libjpeg-turbo 2.x and IJG builds reject the SOF3 input. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. | ||||
